One of the loveliest homes I have ever stayed at. Absolute peace beauty. The view is breathtaking and the home is a stunning well-maintained 1940s home with renovated essentials. What made the experience so memorable is how lovely the host and the people on the property are. So kind and helpful, without intruding on your space. I can highly recommend this stay 🫶🏼

Perfect for a quiet getaway. Lovely farm cottage. Ninell was a great host. Not too far from Pretoria but far away enough from the hustle and bustle. Would highly recommend for recharging the batteries. I would definitely go back.

Honestly, this is really a piece of heaven when you need to get some time to reflect, relax, and switch off. It's close enough to restaurants and shopping centres for convenience, but it feels like you're completely away from civilisation when you're at the farm. Ryan is a wonderful host and person and was so accommodating. The Karoo Lodge is beautiful and it has to be experienced to fully appreciate its beauty and energy. If you love fires burning and listening to music on vinyl, this is the perfect setting for you! So impressed by Big Inja's facilities and beauty. Honestly, this was everything I needed and more! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully tranquil. Communication from the host was excellent throughout. Highly recommended!

The Rambling Rose cottage was our home for about a week at the end of our honeymoon trip. David was so lovely, welcoming, extremely accommodating and very very helpful. Instructions and helpful notes in the house are thorough, anything we needed, David was happy to assist. It’s the perfect space for a bushlike retreat, even though you’re in the middle of a city. Quiet and peaceful, with friendly and well behaved dogs, safe parking, comfortable living areas, all you need for a chilled out retreat. Thank you so much David for your wonderful hospitality!

The cottage is exactly what we were looking for. A rural retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg. If you want to feel like you are away in nature yet somewhat part of a working farm then this is the place for you. With it being situated inside an indigenous nursery just made it so much more special. Not to speak about the farm fresh milk and cream in the fridge. Bliss!!
