The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. Payzac is well located providing easy access to the best features that the Ardeche has to offer, like Pont d'Arc, the caves, and rivers.

Beautiful house in the countryside with a stream for swimming within walking distance. This old stone house can accommodate up to 8 people in 4 separate bedrooms. A large kitchen and large living room will allow you to spend time together. The house is located in the middle of nature, fields and chestnut forests. Several walking trails start from the property, two streams run through it, one wide enough for bathing and swimming.
