Monthly Rentals in Lake Kournas

Nikos places is great. Its beautifull house in olive groove close to village and lake just few minutes walk. house has all you need, shade, sun , few big teraces, parking space. I felt like at home and we really enjoyed or 2week stay. Nikos was really responsive, he is easygoing guy, had recommended lot of things. Location is good base to explore Kriti and you need a car and for us was no problem so we utilized every moment to visit around great beaches, gorges, cities , taverna... great vacation Would like to come back and definetely recommend. ps: thx for genuine olive oil

Lovely villa in a quiet area! The villa and views are better than shown in the photos. Maria was an amazing host who responded quickly and was very helpful when it came to understanding the local area! Short drive to local villages for shops, fuel and the sea but great local tavernas and gifts shops to visit on foot! Overall a lovely place to stay

Maria’s place was lovely. At night you could only hear the sound of cicadas. They are an older couple who live on the property and rent the extra room & bathroom, which is next door to their place in a separate annex. There is a shared terrace with lovely views. They are super lovely and friendly and it’s part of the experience to talk with them. Everything was clean and tidy and was all that we needed. We’d liked to have stayed another night just to really enjoy the tranquility but it was booked up. You’re a bit in the middle of nowhere but we liked that! It’s a short drive to the town with loads of tavernas and lake kourna is very close by. I’d definitely recommend this as a place to stay. Both were full of smiles and keen to help if you needed it. Maria made a lovely quince jelly / jam for us.

This place is the perfect getaway for Crete. A short walk to Lake Kournas and a drive to the nice beaches of Georgioupoli. Eleni is a very responsive and helpful host and I loved the accommodation. 5 stars!
