Holiday rentals with beach access in Lake Lure

We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Linda and Robb were very accommodating. We felt right at home. Robb made some wonderful recommendations about the resort.

Blin's place was spotless, comfortable and the view was stunning - Fall leaves were in full color while we were there. The bathrooms were spacious and clean - the water was hot with good pressure. The king bed in the master was supportive and comfortable. I heard no complaints about the bunk room beds the kids used. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. All appliances worked well. It was muddy while we were there so we rolled up the light colored rugs so we didn't accidentally stain them. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of area for him to run and the streets were quiet for a walk along the road. There are steps all the way to the water which will be amazing for lake access in the summer. As it was cold while we were there and the lake was still recovering from Hurrican Helene, we did not get in the water. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Location is great, Larry communicates well & is very nice, kitchen space is great, wide open areas.

We’ve been to Rumbling Bald multiple times and this has been my favorite residence of all! It’s easily accessible, has tons of space, and is well equipped. But the host and her proactiveness and accessibility are what make outstanding. We absolutely loved our time there and hope to make it back again sometime!

We felt very lucky to find this place in a pinch. Our other air bnb that we booked a month+ ago had frozen water pipes. Tamera responded very quickly to our panicked, last minute booking. The place is immaculate. We had everything we needed. We were grateful for our stay here.

We booked Greg and Lisa's place because it was very near to family we were visiting at Christmas. And, even though it was right in the middle of the busiest Holiday season Greg and Lisa were very responsive with any request or questions we had. We were quite pleasantly surprised to see the kitchen is more well equipped than how it appears in the photos. There is a new 2 burner induction cooktop as well as a small countertop oven. We were eating with family elsewhere, but I feel I could have prepared a full meal in the kitchen if I had needed or wanted to. We also appreciated how comfy the big sectional sofa was. It was perfect for cuddling and watching a movie with our daughter whom we hadn't seen for a long time. Thanks Greg and Lisa! We will probably be back!

Such a beautiful home and a wonderful place for a family weekend retreat to Lake Jackson State Park and participate in the Fonta Flora 50K. The home is so cozy, and enjoyable. Space to gather together and also retreat away to relax and read a book or nap. The deck and dock space are amazing!!! Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We are already planning our next visit to their home.

There really are no words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay. For our family of 6, and our 2 doggies, we were looking for a large space in a beautiful and peaceful setting to enjoy the holidays together. We are all so busy and run in different directions, and we thought this would be a great way to have a captive Christmas for everyone to enjoy time together! We were right! The owner has the house decorated perfectly for Christmas, and the basement level was perfect for our 3 grown boys to play video games and bond together! Grandma enjoyed the large tv with the giant window overlooking the mountain and lake - and mom & dad (us) enjoyed the master bedroom & bath with a balcony overlooking the mountain and lake. It was perfect, like Switzerland, but only 2 hours from home! We have treasured memories of our trip!

Stayed at Christy's place from 4/14/25 to 4/18/25. Very modern, serene, and peaceful. Great place for outdoor enthusiasts, especially for those that love the water and kayaking. There is also easy hiking on the Flora Trail within walking distance in this gated community. The Fonta Flora Loop Trail is about 3 miles away and is a moderate hike with great water and mountain view. Down the road a bit further is Shortoff Mountain which is somewhat strenuous but the views are worth it. Would definitely stay again! Dave

Karen’s place is a super comfortable and relaxing place to stay The evening view from the hot tub, which was great BTW, was wonderful looking out over the lake and seeing all the stars and nice and private The shower is really nice and has great water pressure and a very nice shower head and was very enjoyable and many places just don’t measure up in this area The bed was very comfy and are all the LR furniture including those inviting reclining love seats An Oklahoma Joes grill/smoker is onsite which I definitely used😎 I highly recommend considering this as your place of choice and a very great value Please don’t hesitate reserving this one if it’s in your list 😊

Outstanding as always. Our 5th or 6th time staying at this cabin. It is perfect!

The house was perfect for our family holiday get together. It was spacious with room to spread out. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Fully stocked kitchen with any utensils, pots and pans we needed. There were plenty of towels and linens. The house was well stocked and included some extras. There was plenty of off street parking as well. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely rent again.

The house was beautiful with a view of the lake. I enjoyed coffee on the outdoor patio or in front of the various fires. We also enjoyed hiking the community trails as a family. My advice would be to pack everything, the kitchen did not have any supplies (ie garbage bags or olive oil). Worth every penny for the house and would love to go back in the summer. Oh and don't waste your time going to Marion, there's nothing in that town. Enjoy the outdoors instead :)

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that allowed me to truly unwind. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the rustic decor, which added a warm and authentic feel to the space. Being close to hiking trails and nature spots was a bonus, as it allowed for easy exploration and outdoor activities. Overall, a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the peace of the mountains. Highly recommended!

Great condo in the mountains. Was visiting for a wedding so a very short stay but this condo had everything we needed. Spacious for a condo and gorgeous patio/porch. Hope to return in the fall and enjoy it longer with all the amenities available.

I loved this little private stay in Lake Lure. after the destruction from the hurricanes, it's amazing to see how strong the community is, how positive their outlook is, and how they've grown closer together through this. Melissa's place was extremely clean, quiet, and BEAUTIFULLY surrounded by the Carolina mountains. I even saw a black bear driving up to the property late at night! the neighborhood is quiet, we honestly didn't think anyone else was around until we saw another car. Overall, a BEAUTIFUL stay. Even with the damage from the hurricane, there was still a ton to do nature-wise, and we stopped at the Gorge zip lining and had an ABSOLUTE BLAST. I definitely recommend this stay 🥰

Very cute condo. Resort access was nice to have as there is not much to do but n the area without driving 30-40mins. But with the resort access, you have several pools, a beach, and lots of other things that will keep you busy. The condo is a good size for two people. The added perk of being able to bring our dog was nice. The kitchen is limited- small air fryer and stove top with minimal container options for putting things in the microwave, but we were able to make it work since we were only there a few days. There is a Keurig with coffee pods, which was nice. Overall, the place is clean, dog friendly, with nice access to a resort.

I can only rate Andrea on her communication. Unfortunately we were scheduled to come the same time Hurricane Helene made her presence. Andrea kept us up to date on weather conditions throughout storm. Unfortunately we were unable to get there to see the home ourselves, but I would definitely book again with Andrea just based on her communication. I hope that they did not endure too much damage, but unfortunate Lake Lure has a lot to recover from.

We had a great time! My kids loved going on the canoe in the pond. We also loved going to the pool after a day out apple picking and hiking. The mornings are also peaceful sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee listening to the waterfall.
