This unique place has a style all its own designed to emulate a Ranger Retreat /fire tower. The cabin has a commanding view of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls/Gorge. The cabin was built out of 100+year old reclaimed materials with 15 foot vaulted ceilings on the main floor. With poplar bark walls, incredible lighting, hand cut slate floors your stay is guaranteed to be enchanting. Sit in the hot tub and look at a waterfall while listening to another waterfall behind you and river below you.

A cozy cabin exterior is surrounded by lush greenery, featuring a welcoming porch with two rocking chairs. The wooden deck offers space for outdoor seating, blending harmoniously with the natural setting. Large windows provide views into the inviting interior.

The Artful Dodger Getaway Cabin Charming & Unique

Our cabin is in the gated Riverbend community on a quiet wooded lot and is very cozy and comfortable inside and out. It is perfect for a couple's getaway from city hustle and bustle. Wildlife abounds in the area. Inside are all the comforts of home, including a very comfortable Sealy memory foam king mattress. There is a big Ingles and several restaurants nearby. Chimney Rock and the lake (Lake Lure) are under repair and closed for the season. Our private lake is open and as pretty as ever.

The living area features a cozy leather sofa and matching love seat, positioned around a unique wood coffee table. A natural stone fireplace stands beneath a mounted television, while large sliding glass doors provide access to a spacious deck, framing the mountain views.

We’re so happy to be back to hosting at our sweet little spot! Stay in an original 1920’s, newly renovated log cabin, located in the first established community of Chimney Rock. Nestled in between Chimney Rock Village/State Park and Lake Lure, you're just a quick walk (under a mile) to each. See views of Chimney Rock from your yard, equipped with a level gravel fire pit area, deck off of the master bedroom, level parking (room for 2-3 vehicles), as well as spaces for motorcycles, if needed.

A rustic living area showcases a stone fireplace with a warm glow. Red chairs are positioned near large windows, allowing natural light to illuminate the wooden walls. A patterned rug adds a touch of warmth to the polished floor, creating a cozy atmosphere.
