What a beautiful cabin close to the Shawnee National forest and numerous other states parks and wilderness areas. We had everything we needed and more. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils, and the hot tub clean and spacious and oh so relaxing. The outdoor space is pristine, comfortable, and a great place to gather. We'll worth the trip!

We had a great time at the Jaybird Treehouse! The weather unfortunately kept us inside most of it, but if we had to be stuck inside, we were happy it was at Kris’ property. We can’t wait to come back in the future!

We loved Firefly. The house was beautiful and the view from that balcony was breath taking. We had 8 adults and two 7 year olds and we all slept comfortably. Matt was very quick to answer any questions and was kind enough to give us a late check out so that we could sleep in a little and still enjoy our morning at the house.

Amy‘s place was just what we were looking for, a short getaway weekend. It was quite peaceful and Amy was very responsive anytime we had any questions. The hot tub was a big plus and we got to enjoy it many times. The cabin was just far away from everything to feel you are out of the chaos of everyday yet close enough to some smaller towns when we wanted to venture out and try something new. Amy’s place is very close to some really nice parks and other nature area for hiking fishing and exploring. The private dock was also nice for sitting in the sun and fishing. Amy was a great host and her place was just what we were looking for.

We needed a place to get away and do some soul searching. Steve's place was perfect. It's so peaceful and quiet. We had the best time. Caught some fish and had a great time in the hot tub. Steve and his wife were great company while we were chatting at the winery and gave great recommendations on places to visit. We also had plenty on privacy when we needed it. We will definitely be going back when headed back to that area to explore.

We had a super quick stay (just one night), but was a wonderful experience. The house was as described, easy to find, and easy to get into. The house was well appointed, with everything we needed., comfy furniture, and great spaces to relax indoors and out. We hope to come back soon and enjoy the yard a bit more! Overall, a wonderful quick trip.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, family and dog friendly, design focused place to stay, this is your spot. The garden was incredible with spring ephemerals and flowering cherry blossoms blowing in the wind. This was the perfect home base for exploring wineries and the Shawnee National Forest. The loft was the perfect spot to set up our young toddler’s pack-n-play, though fair warning that there is little sound insulation from the kitchen and main living to the upstairs while your little one is sleeping. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this glorious pool house again with our babe in tow! 10/10

Another great stay on the property. We love the location and proximity to everything. Also, the property is accomodating for our fishing boat. Tom-tom (the cat) was a fantastic little amenity at the cabin. He greeted us upon our return and joined us for our morning coffee. Give him all the love!

We loved our stay at the Coffee Bean house! We were in town for a family reunion and it was exactly what we needed. The coffee maker, K-Cups, and syrups (with sugar free options!) was a great touch. We love hiking so we visited the Garden of the Gods, the Little Grand Canyon and the Giant City Nature Trail. This cabin is in a great location for visiting the Shawnee National Forest and perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking. The grill for making dinner was so clean, as well as the hot tub for relaxing. Also a fire pit out back. The kitchen had everything you could need. Shampoo and conditioner were also provided. This is by far the best Airbnb I have visited, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We had a great time :)

Traveled with my husband, teenage daughter and our puppy. Pet friendly! Super clean and fresh! Hot tub was an attractive amenity. Host is very responsive and the site is just off of major roads so it is easy to find, yet also quiet. Very central to all the must see sites near Shawnee National Forest. Lots of amenities packed into a small space. Great for a long weekend stay!
