Amazing stay here! Really lovely hosts that were really helpful and welcoming. Beautiful outdoor area and lots of space inside the air conditioned room! It’s close enough to the beach to walk but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time at Marco's place and his friend. We were well received by Sajeeva, who was very hospitable. He gave us nice tips and was always nearby if there should be anything. The rooms were great and the interior was very well done. The kids loved the place and felt very safe. The best thing about the stay was that we contributed to the great project they run. I think it's absolutely amazing that they give children the opportunity to go to school. I will definitely be back and want to monitor the development of the school and the new cafe. I hope you set up a fundraiser where people can contribute. Thanks for us😊

Harshana and family are excellent hosts. I was looking for a quiet vacation spot and that's what I found. Access to multiple markets for purchasing fresh fruit and vegetables, beach life including surfing lessons, rentals and cabana life, are all within walking distance. Suggestions for local specialties and eateris are encouraged. Treat bags gifts with Hoppers, and fresh baked goods made me experiment more with local delicacies. This stay will be tough to beat. Finally, Matara's people are friendly and helpful. As good as the world could ask for.

The villa is adequately provided and well equipped . If anything is required to suit your taste then Aravinda promptly arranges the same . We spent nearly 34 days at this villa and it had become a second home to us. 2 bedrooms were provided with AC and the 3rd bedroom was provided with desert cooler. For longer stays the electricity is billed to the guest. Our bill was @14000 LKR for the entire duration . We used only 1 AC as only 1 bedroom was utilised by us. We didnot use any electric cooking gadget , even though all kinds of electric ovens were there. We used only the cooking gas stove and gas cylinder was provided by Aravinda . The front lawn is green and Aravinda takes responsibility to get the lawn cleaned once every week. Be careful of red ants though :-). Aravinda took us for a familiarisation ride of the locality on our 1st day . He also picked / dropped us from/to airport in his sedan at very low cost. We definitely would like to come back again!
