The building is around 500 years old, and is thought to be at the very heart of the original Cardoso, with the village growing around this centre over the next few centuries. Recently restored, the house has many original features, including wooden beams, terracotta tiles and its two distinctive arches. Orizzonti Apartments is a building located on one of the quietest streets in the town of Manarola. Walkable from the station or parking in about 10 minutes. You will be welcomed by large interior spaces and a 45 sqm garden overlooking the sea and the entire town of Manarola. The wonderful view will allow you to see in the distance also the villages of Corniglia, Monterosso and Punta Mesco. The building was built by Giorgio Riccobaldi, a poet and writer from Manarola.
