Holiday rentals with a sauna in Lambton Shores

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was worth every penny and was exactly the quiet/peaceful time away we needed. The place was spotless, and very private and had so much character! The weather wasn't great, so weren't able to sit outside and enjoy the fireplace but the nice large French doors overlooking the open fields allowed to sit inside with a glass of wine and still enjoy the sunset. The sauna was a nice bonus as well! Laurie provided literally everything we would would have needed (we definitely overpacked!), with lots of towels, blankets, slippers, flip flops, kitchen supplies, games. We went into Chatham for brunch, which was only a short drive away. We will definitely be returning, I can't say enough good things about Laurie and her space, if you are looking for a peaceful time away to recharge, reconnect and relax this is exactly what you need!!

This place was the perfect sanctuary for my girlfriends and I. The 6 of us friends from high school have been doing an annual getaway for the past 20 years. This has been our BEST retreat yet. There was lots of room in the house for sleep, play, eating, and relaxing. The outside space was incredible with the hot tub, sauna, comfortable seating (covered and not covered), hammocks, and the firepit. It was clean and so comfortable. It had luxury touches as well that made us feel like we were really being pampered. We are currently trying to finalize our weekend date for next year so we can rebook this spot! Thank you!

We had a great one-night stay at Salem's place. The place was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed. The host was friendly, easy to communicate with, and made the whole process smooth. Would definitely recommend!

Casa Mariposa was a fantastic place to get away from the busy city. The home was packed with almost everything you could need, was spacious, beautifully decorated, and looked just like the photos. Communication was excellent. The entire stay was comfortable and smooth.

The Hemlock retreat was exactly what we needed for parents of two little kids to get away for a few days. The house was absolutely spotless! The kitchen and dining area was airy and bright with beautiful views of the woods. We watched deer, turkey and woodpeckers during meals. We enjoyed hiking along the creek and through the forest; it's clear that the owners love this property and put a lot of effort into the forest management. The sauna, fireplace and large tub were so nice for warming up. They even provided firewood. The owners house is nearby, but all the main windows face the other direction towards the woods, so we felt like we had lots of privacy. The bed is on the softer side but we slept comfortably. The smart tv was great, and I loved having access to the Sonos speaker in the kitchen so I could play music while cooking. Overall we would definitely come back; it was the perfect stay despite the cold march weather so I imagine it's beautiful in every season. Thank you!

Great experience staying at this cottage. It is by far one of the nicest places on the Huron Shores. The view is spectacular through the huge windows. The house was spotless and clean, and very well appointed. Looked like it was out of a model home. Well stocked with games and things to do. Clean kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms. We had a great and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend this cottage. We will absolutely be booking again.
