Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Mountain Hamlet Apartment

54 m² upstairs cottage of a characterful house, located in a mountain hamlet in the heart of the Cantal Mountains, 5 km from the Lioran resort, 8 km from the medieval city of Murat and 20 km from the Grand Site du Puy Mary. Ideal for hikers, the cottage is located on the GR400 (Tour des Monts du Cantal) and on Via Arverna (Chemin de Compostela). Another gite with independent entrance is located on the ground floor. Sleeping arrangements: 1 bed (140) + 2 beds (90) + 1 sofa bed (140).

Oscar and Petrus at Lioran

On the top floor of the Tour de la Sumene overlooking the resort, you will find this 35 m² apartment, with a closed sleeping area and a mezzanine with 2 beds for children. The location allows access to the slopes via the walkway without waiting hours for the elevator in the morning and evening. It is fully equipped with the ski locker located indoors. For the summer it is ideal when you come back from a day of hiking or cycling. All shops are at the foot of the tower.

The accommodation is close to the Rocher du Cerf blue trail, GR400 hiking trails leading to the peaks of the Cantalian volcano. It offers 3 bedrooms and a dormitory under the roof. During the beautiful days you can enjoy the sun thanks to the terrace located on the side of the cottage, to eat outside or simply contemplate the mountains.

If you are looking for calm, this is the ideal house at the foot of Puy Mary in the place called Louradou. at the start of various hikes, GR400, mountain biking, TRAIL, cross country skiing, snowshoeing. 15 km from Lioran ski resort (if road is clear). 15 minutes from the Jordanne Gorges, Lake Graves Grocery store, bakery, restaurant 1.5 km from the house. Aurillac 25 km away weekend or other rental, except July and August by the week.
