Such a nice place even better than the photos, so well equipped and lovely beds. Loved just sitting outside looking at the view. The patio is in the shade and the garden in the sun so a great choice There are a selection of restaurants in the bay. We went in mid October and it was starting to shut down for the winter Would recommend having a car to get out and about and visit Heraklion, Knossos, Rethimno Agia Pelagia is a 5 mins drive away and busier. Nice to have a parking space but does need a bit of manoeuvring, even so not a problem

My family all had an amazing stay at Maria's place. The location is brilliant. Right on the beach and a short stroll to a number of lovely tavernas. We didn't need to leave the bay so we didn't need a car. We hired one for a day to visit a lake when the coast felt a bit too windy. The house is incredibly well kitted out. So many toys and outdoor play things for the kids. The kitchen has anything you could need - Maria is such a generous and consideerate host. she supplied so many things we might need having a baby in the group. She even cooked us a delicious dinner for our first night - leaving it in the oven for when everyone had arrived. Overall a great stay. My kids were crying about leaving. I nearly did too...!

Honestly the photos don’t even do the place justice, me and my girlfriend had the most incredible time here. George and Fofi are so lovely and accommodating, helped me get a reliable hire car for good price. We had such an amazing time and apartment and would love to come back. The place is quite tricky to find initially and up a very steep hill, so if you go the only thing I’d say is to definitely get a hire car! Really have nothing bad to say about it at all. Great place
