Monthly Rentals in Lindenhurst

My family stayed for Christmas, and it was a peaceful retreat. Staying in the winter felt cozy & magical. (We spotted cardinals!) We couldn’t help but imagine it in the summer. Karen’s thoughtfulness with the festive decor made the space warm & inviting, and her asking if we’d be comfortable with decorations made us feel welcome. The home exceeded expectations—more beautiful and quaint IRL than the photos, with a family-friendly design. A couple of us found the beds to be too soft, but it’s worth noting that’s a personal preference. Karen’s thoughtfulness further showed in small details, like providing rubbermaid take-alongs for leftovers. After our stay, I mentioned that the grill’s grease pan was unusable and that we added a temporary replacement, and Karen, without hesitation and completely unprompted, provided a refund for the cost. Again, a gesture that highlighted her care. This home offered the perfect setting for our holiday, and we left feeling rested and grateful.

Lindsey went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home. She was extremely responsive when we had difficulty with the TV apps and even got us an app to allow us to see network channels she didn’t have. We were not going to stay here because I figured all the bedrooms were on the second floor. She reconfigured the rooms and made a first floor bedroom with a king size bed and dresser. There is an extremely “comfy” lounge chair and 2 couches perfect for relaxing and watching your favorite shows. She offers many streaming channels. We barbecued often and a walk to the clear beach of Loon Lake was only 1/4 mile away. Beautiful swans to watch. We will definitely be back 😊

This cute cottage was perfect for family members who were in town for Christmas! It was super close to our house, had great views, and was so cozy. We will for sure book again!
