We're happy to present you with a brand new cosy NEST right next to the Sé de Lisboa and Baixa! Fully refurbished and re-decorated in November 2017, this nest offers a spacious living & dining room (with a sofa-bed) and a balcony with good views to Lisbon´s old downtown area (“Baixa”). The comfy private bedroom is a perfect fit for couples, while the stunning attic offers a fantastic retreat to enjoy some quality time over a glass of wine or beer or just relaxing after a long day of making the most of the city outside. A fully equipped kitchen (oven, stove, microwave, espresso machine, water kettle, toaster, washing machine, dishwasher, you name it…) is at your disposal, as well as a spacious bathtub bathroom with guaranteed trouble-free water pressure. Apart from all of this the flat is also equipped with a fast WIFI connection and Smart TV (100+ channels), so just grab a seat at the huge sofa and watch a movie / tv series logging in the TV to your preferred account. And last but not least, are you concerned about the weather outside, and whether the flat will be too hot or too cold? No worries, we’ve got top quality super silent air conditioning (hot and cold) to make sure you always feel comfy, regardless of whether it’s Summer or Winter. Did we also mention the perfect location of our NEST? Indeed it is, as you will find our NEST right next to the Lisbon Cathedral (Sé) and historical 28 electric tram stop. Within just a few minutes walking distance you will reach Praça do Comércio, Rua Augusta, Elevador Sta Justa (all within 5 min), and also Chiado, Rossio, Av. Liberdade, S. Jorge Castle, Alfama and Graça neighbourhoods (all between 10 to 15 min), and so many other city attractions... Does all of this sound interesting??? Come and check it out!!! Our NEST is located in an 18th century building so typical of Lisbon's downtown area. As such, there's no lift / elevator, which means you will need to take the stairs (it's a 4th floor). In any case, think on the positive side: this is just a small flavour to get you used to the 7 Hills City :) (probably you've already heard that this is one of the so many names Lisbon is known by...). And we guarantee the views from upstairs will be totally worth it!!! Our Guests comfort and well being is our top priority, so we'll always be in touch to make sure we respond asap to any request or doubt. The flat sits in Baixa neighbourhood on a quiet street, close to great coffee shops and restaurants, close to the Lisbon Cathedral. Explore Alfama, the Castle, Baixa, Chiado, and the 28 electric tram goes right past the door. If you're coming by plane to the Lisbon Airport (relatively close to the city centre), there are pretty much 3 options: (1) Taking a taxi / Uber: A good option is taking a Uber/Cabify (cheaper than the typical taxis). Please consider that Uber/Cabify drivers usually pick customers up at the Departure Parking lot - takes roughly 20/25 minutes to arrive to the flat (of course, dependent on traffic). (2) Via private transfer (similar to a taxi - journey will cost about 30€): This is the most comfortable option, and if you'd like, we can also help out arranging a private transfer with one of our partners directly from the airport to the Nest - the driver would be waiting for you at the Arrivals area with a board with your name. (3) Alternative option is to take public transports: - By Bus only (whole journey will take roughly 40/45 min): take bus "708" from stop "Praça do Aeroporto" to "Rua da Palma" (13 stops - about 20 min), and from there you can walk about 12 min (800 metres) until reaching the flat - bear in mind it's walking upwards from Rua da Palma. - By Subway/Tube & Bus (whole journey will take roughly 45/50 min): take the tube from stop "Aeroporto" to "Alameda" (Red Line only), and right outside the tube station there will be a bus stop where you can take bus "735" until stop "Sapadores" (6 stops - about 14 min), and from there you can walk about 7 min (650 metres) until reaching the flat - street level is horizontal all the way, so easier to carry your luggage. If you're traveling by car and you need a parking space, we recommend probably using one of the nearby underground parking lots, as the streets are quite busy and it can be a bit difficult to park near the flat. If you do find it difficult, some options to park your car are the following places: - "Parque do Mercado Chão de Loureiro", about 0,4 km / 5 minutes walking to the flat (it will cost you around 20€ / 24h). - "Parque de Estacionamento Praça do Município", about 0,5 km / 7 minutes walking to the flat (it will cost you around 32€ / 24h). - "Parque de Estacionamento Praça Figueira", about 0,7 km / 9 minutes walking to the flat (it will cost you around 35€ / 24h). Apart from some exceptional situations, we're pretty sure we'll be there face to face to welcome you get on with the check in procedures. Nonetheless, our NEST is prepared for self check-in (we've got door codes for the building and the flat) for those rare situations when we will not be able to welcome you face to face. And we're always super flexible when it comes to early check-ins or late check-outs (free of charge), as long as the NEST isn't occupied by someone else.

Full of light, this apartment has plenty of space for two guests: 1 double bedroom with big closet area, 1 bathroom, spacious living room (dining and lounge areas), little office space and a cozy deck and PRIVATE garden where you can relax and enjoy some fresh air in the middle of historic Lisbon. :) It is situated in a calm street, yet in a central location. We will provide you linen and towels; the kitchen is equipped with all cutlery, espresso machine, microwave, and washing machine. Bright, Charming and Elegant in the Heart of Lisbon

The amazing and spacious (120 sqm) apartment is on the 2nd floor (with elevator) of an entirely renovated traditional Lisbon building, and is sun facing throughout the day. It is elegantly decorated, fully furnished and equipped with all the mod-cons. Open the windows, enjoy the balcony, take a rest on the couch, enjoy the views, use the internet, enjoy a drink or read a book, cook and do everything you like and you normally do in your own home, but in the fantastic city of Lisbon! The apartment offers 2 double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom, a spacious living and dining room with a study area and a sofa that can be turned into an extra bed; one toilet; a kitchen fully equipped with washing machine, dry machine, microwaves, fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher; TV and free wifi throughout the house. It can accommodate up to 5 persons and has all the appliances for long and short stays, with the possibility of one baby bed (please ask for it). Cleaning is made before the arrivals and is included in the price. Beds will be made with fresh linen and we will provide one set of towels per guest. You will be able to enjoy the whole apartment exclusively throughout your stay. I will always endeavor to reply quickly to all your questions or comments. You will find São Sebastião metro station just at the end of the street (4 min walk). São Sebastião is an hub station for red line (direct connection to the airport) and blue line (direct connection to historic center, avenida da liberdade and santa apolonia train station). There are also three buses lines nearby (3 min walk), at Av. de Berna: 716, 726 and 756. If you want to visit Alcantara area or Rua da Junqueira (Tagus riverfront), line 756 will get you there (direction east-west). If you are traveling with a private car, there is a covered car park in front of the building, with a maximum daily rate of 12 euros.

Open up the shutters and let the sun stream into this top-floor loft in Bairro Alto with a sharp, stylish interior. High ceilings, skylights, and angular, asymmetric lines create a sleek look, and the statement metallic lighting adds a high-end feel. The loft has a total area of 120m2, which includes 75m2 of open space (kitchen, dining and living areas), a suite of 25m2 and a second suite of 20m2. The interior is sharp and sophisticated, recently designed by myself together with a Dutch designer. The apartment has high-ceilings with angular and asymmetric lines, giving it lot of character. The open space is on the street side of the building, it has one main double door with a small french balcony, and four ceiling windows that can be opened automatically. The bedroom suites are on the inner side of the building and each has two large windows to the inner yard so you can sleep very quietly. They both have a private bathroom, with a toilet, sink, bidet, large mirror, large shower and automatic roof-windows (yes, we have natural light in the bathroom :) ). Furthermore, all areas have air-conditioning, central heating, wireless internet, windows that can be closed to complete darkness, and are double-glassed with excellent sound isolation. This is absolutely necessary to sleep well and quietly in this neighbourhood, if you are light- and sound-sensitive like we are. It's fun to live in Bairro Alto but one needs to rest quietly. At ours, you will find close-to-total sound isolation, and you will be able to sleep like a baby. Overall the loft will give you a spacious and luxurious feeling. From waking up with a Nespresso and the sun on your dining table, from taking a rain shower and sliding in your elegant outfit to enjoy the city life of Lisbon! Feel very welcome to our "Casa da Barroca" :)) You have access to the entire apartment and its amenities, except for a couple of closets that we locked so we can store our own things while we are hosting you. We actually live in this apartment. :) Someone who’s offsite will be available as needed. Bairro Alto, known as the bohemian district, is one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods, with a unique identity and character. The narrow, cobbled streets are home to design shops, local stores, restaurants, bars, cafes, Fado houses, and nightclubs. Metro station "Baixa-Chiado" is 4 minutes walk from the apartment. If you take an Uber or a taxi, you need to be dropped at "Praça do Camões", which is 100 metres down the apartment (Rua da Barroca is closed to traffic, only exception being trash collectors, local inhabitants with a resident card and deliveries).
