George's house is in a peaceful setting in a small village away from the crowds but only a 15-minute drive to shops, restaurants and the beach. Many hiking trails are accessible nearby. The house is impeccable with all the amenities you need and the terrace is very nice. The neighbors are very nice and welcoming while remaining discreet. George is a wonderful host. He is very accommodating and always available. I highly recommend this house which is a peaceful oasis. Thank you for everything George!

Monastry Estate Retreat in Moni / Sougia is the place to be if you seek serenity, quiet and some extra care. There is a choice between the hotel suites and the guest houses. We chose the guest house because of wanting a kitchen. I'm sure we'll visit again and trty out the other rooms. The staff are very helpful and friendly and always interested in taking care of the guest. We had our cat with us and she was very welcomed. We were there for 6 nights and really felt the peace. Sougia is just 10 mins by car and hiking is possible from different locations. Certainly recommended if you want peace and quiet in the mountains near Sougia.

The place was just beautiful - inside and out. Beautiful scenery looking out the windows and from the patio. Very quiet and peaceful. Really lovely place and great hosts.

We stayed for a few days in this pretty spacious house in the mountain 25 minutes from Sougia by car . The house is very well equipped with several very peaceful terraces. Antonis is charming, he spoiled us as soon as we arrived, fruit, fresh eggs,bread……… Possibility of hiking in the surrounding area, Lissos, Agia Irini Gorge and Samaria . You can also take the boat from Sougia or Paleochora . To be recommended without hesitation
