The interior's fresh, well-maintained condition made us feel instantly at home. The highlight was definitely the convenient beach access - perfect for spontaneous walks and sunset views. We particularly appreciated all the special touches throughout the property that showed real attention to detail. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners while they were tending to the yard, and their warm hospitality added an extra special touch to our stay. Their care for the property is evident in every corner. We've already marked this cottage as a favorite for future visits. It's a true gem that delivers everything you could want in a beach getaway. We had a very pleasant stay! The home is just a few short blocks from the Wells Street Beach near the Indiana Dunes National Park. The home was modern and clean, with plenty of amenities. Our host was very responsive and helpful. The location is also just a few miles from the Portage South Shore rail station, allowing for an easy trip into Chicago. If you're looking for a relaxing stay near the Indiana Dunes, don't hesitate to stay here!

Beautiful location that feels secluded. Pool table and poker table are a great touch, and yhe lake is not heavily populated. The kayaks available were very relaxing on a nice day.

We had a nice stay here. The cabin is very close to a beach and has a nice view of Lake Michigan. We watched the sunset there one evening. It is also only a short distance to Grand Mere State Park and Silver Beach in St Joseph which I highly recommend. The host was very responsive and friendly. The pictures on the listing are accurate. It is in a nice gated community which felt very safe.

We absolutely loved this place and our stay. The lake views were more beautiful than the photos could show, the chalet is comfortable and well-stocked, and there was so much to do in the community that we didn't even scratch the surface. We loved the beach area which wasn't crowded at all, even on Labor Day weekend. We drove in to St. Joseph for dinner and to go to ur favorite shops - super easy drive. The walk to the beach was so short we didn't even take a lunch out there, just popped up to the house whenever we needed a restroom break or a snack. We never needed to contact Ben but got plenty of communication beforehand and the manual in the house provided info of how to text him if we needed to. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the lake house! The setting was incredibly peaceful and the quiet lake provided a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. I was able to work from home comfortably while my six-year-old had a blast playing in the lake and on the beach. Evenings were a highlight with the fire pits, where we enjoyed making s’mores under the stars. The host was fantastic and provided thoughtful extras like s’mores ingredients, beach towels, and filtered water, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene and family-friendly retreat. We'll definitely be back!

Kelly was easy to work with, had great communication, was very accommodating, and the cottages were so cozy & quaint! The biggest plus was getting the opportunity to use that amazing pontoon boat and getting out on the lake. We would definitely stay at this lake again! What a fun area. Having such a fun time we started looking at Kelly’s other properties for future getaways!

Family in town for a reunion. We had 7 people and there is plenty of room. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking. Home was well stocked, paper towels, bathroom amenities, etc. Grandkids loved the shallow beachfront. I highly recommend.

We would definitely stay here again. Abel’s place was super comfy, close to everything, and very clean. Abel was very responsive and helpful. If you’re looking for beach floats and like items, there is a Dollar General nearby that was cheap and had lots to choose from.

A great place for our extended family to stay! We had a big group, including 5 young kids. The place was plenty big, very clean, and well stocked. The kids loved playing on the sandy beach and boating/tubing on the lake. The furnishings were all high quality—comfy lounge chairs outside, comfortable sheets on the beds, etc. A lovely place!
