Family-friendly vacation home in the most beautiful hiking area! In the most beautiful valley of the Bavarian Forest, hidden on the mountainside in the forest and only accessible via a forest path, lies our small Einödhof. Our visitors enjoy the tranquility and naturalness of the place and the coziness of their vacation home. In front of the log cabin there is a sheltered seating area with sandpit and campfire place. A few meters away there is a small mountain pond. Swimming is allowed, but the water is ice cold.

At the Bavarian Forest National Park

Relax after an active day in the national park with the whole family in this rustic and cozy place to stay on the edge of the forest. Throughout the year, the nature of the Bavarian Forest invites you to explore it. Hiking trails are right at your doorstep. Extended tours are just as possible as Nordic walking, snowshoeing in winter, or easy walks. Look for mushrooms in the fall and enjoy the snow in the winter. Cross-country ski trails are on site when there is sufficient snow.

Log Cabin in Sankt Englmar

The mountain hut was built using regional craftsmanship from local spruce trunks, in the Canadian log cabin style. The house is individually and lovingly furnished down to the last detail. Our own Starlink system provides you with high-speed internet. Bringing pets is possible by arrangement. Spa tax Adults (> 16 years) 2.30 EUR / day Children & young people (6 – 16 years) 1.40 / day People with a GDB of 80% or more and their accompanying person are exempt from the spa tax.

Forest house in nature

Welcome to the Waldlerhaus in the Bavarian Forest. The house is a wooden log house from about 1810, which stands in a large garden with many fruit trees. We rent the first floor, whereby otherwise no other parties live in the house. There is a bedroom with two beds, and a bunk bed. The second room has a bed and TV. There is a kitchen-living room and a bathroom. In the area there are very nice small lakes, and the Bavarian Forest Nature Park as well as the city of Passau.

Our log cabin offers you a luxurious and cozy stay. With two lovingly furnished bedrooms, each equipped with modern LED TVs, you will find the ideal place to relax. A crackling fireplace in the living room ensures cozy evenings. Enjoy our private sauna and the lovingly designed garden with a separate relaxation area. The fully equipped kitchen combines functionality with a feel-good atmosphere and perfectly rounds off your time out.

Mountain cabin on the Grandsberg

Relax in this special and quiet accommodation in an absolutely idyllic location. Enjoy the unique view at 800 m altitude into the Bavarian Forest and the Gäuboden. You can set off on beautiful hikes directly from the property. Particularly recommended are the Hirschenstein (with lookout tower, at 1052 m) and the idyllic Mühlgrabenweg. Here you can reach the peaks along a stream. There are also beautiful trails for mountain bikers.

Holiday home by the lake in Bavaria – holiday with your dog

Our 67 m² holiday home is quietly situated in the Bavarian countryside and has its own garden. The lake with a dog beach is only 200 m away, fishing with a fishing licence is possible. Ideal for holidays by the lake and holidays with dogs. In winter, it is ideally suited for winter holidays & ski holidays, winter sports resorts such as Sankt Englmar are about 100 km away. Thermal baths and an airfield are nearby.

Arrive and unwind. The rustic wooden cabin in St. Englmar serves as the perfect starting point for attractive outdoor activities for the whole family. The cabin was planned over years of loving work and built using regional craftsmanship. These are “natural log houses” that have retained their natural shape during construction using regional trees to give it its very special charm. A truly sustainable project.
