Ca del Bif

Cà del Bif overlooks the pier of the village of Nesso; the house dates back to 1600 and has been our holiday home for generations. Here we have all learned to swim, practiced various water sports, took many hikes and then meet, in the evening all together on the dock to fish. In 1925, Hitchcock shot The Pleasure Garden here. The apartment is about 50 square metres with a bedroom, bathroom and living room. Cà del Bif can be reached by following a medieval bowl-shaped road (200 m from the church)

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

The house has many windows and sun in charming position above the village of Maggia overlooking the waterfall of the Valle del Salto, nestled in a tropical garden, fully fenced and with a small swimming pool. Close to the house there is the possibility to swim in the river or at the waterfall. Recommended for people seeking tranquility, hikers and in search for privacy and contact with nature. Breath the fresh air from the valley.

In the historical context of the 1700s, a ground floor home with lake view. Renovated and furnished with Italian design accessories. The kitchen carved into the Moltrasio rock keeps the environment cool in the summer months. Bedroom with walk-in closet and master bathroom. Living room with sofa bed and bathroom. Both are equipped with TV, wifi, and floor heating. There is a public stone terrace in front of the house. The tourist tax (€2.50 per person) is excluded from the price.

Upon arriving in your private garden, you will be left speechless by the breathtaking view overlooking the landscape. Cademario is the ideal place to relax surrounded by nature, from here you can reach several trails for hikers and mountain bikers. From 10/01 to 06/01, the use of the Hot Pot is included in the living room to immerse yourself in hot water in front of a wonderful view.

For those who love hiking, there are several trails marked to reach places of interest such as Lake Delio, Campagnano. 3 km away is Maccagno, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, where you can practice canoeing, wind surfing and sailing. From Maccagno, by boat, you can reach the most important places of the lake both Italian and Swiss.
