Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. In just 8 minutes by car you can reach an idyllic swimming lake, in about 15 minutes to Schwerin. If you want peace and excursion possibilities by bike or car, this is the place!

From the apartment to the nearest swimming facility in Lake Schwerin, it takes 3 minutes on foot... to the castle you can reach on a beautiful shore path in 20 minutes and the city center is not much further. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful... there is a small forest within a 3-minute walk. The apartment is cozy and spacious (120 square meters)... there is also a second toilet (not pictured).You have a terrace and can barbecue in the garden. Heating/hot water are guaranteed.

Our vacation home is located directly on Lake Ziegelsee. An absolute place of longing in nature! It was completed in 2021. Very nice natural stone floor downstairs, upstairs wooden floor, underfloor heating Functional kitchen, Miele dishwasher. We have a washing machine with a dryer. The terrace is generously covered. Of course, there is sun and insect protection. The property is over 3000 sqm. We have our own lake access with a jetty. The lake invites you to swim.

Haus is located in a very quiet location in the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. It is 10 km to Lake Schaalsee, 5 km to Lake Neuenkirchen, to the Baltic Sea 50 km (traffic jam-free!!!). The house can be started directly to bike rides, on adjacent hiking trails. On the very natural property there is also a swimming pond. The house is very bright and quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is a large easel available. Pets have generous time.

In summer, we recommend a canoe trip on the nearby Ratzeburg Lake or a shopping trip to Lübeck! Wedding celebrations are possible on the farm! The house has a full basement.
