Located just 2 miles from downtown Mackinaw City, this home is a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The house has been remodeled and will provide a relaxing environment for your vacation. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a screened in porch, the house is a little over a thousand square feet, and sits on a 1/2 acre lot. Located close to the Rails to Trails for walking, biking or snowmobiling! It will take you into Mackinaw City and farther!
“This place is a little gem! The location is perfect: close to town but far enough away that it is quiet, and backed up to woods for a restful back yard. The house is beautifully updated. There is space to spread out, and comfort to relax in. The furnishings are just right. Having a full kitchen is such a plus, and the laundry room is great. My one note is in regard to the mattress in the master bedroom: it seems to sag in the middle. But all in all, a wonderful place that I would go back to and recommend without reservation.”
You will find a relaxed atmosphere with a stay at my home in a quiet neighborhood not far from downtown. It is about a 25 minute walk to shopping, restaurants and Mackinac Island ferries. Although you will be renting a room upstairs, your stay may be made more enjoyable with my friendly black lab mix, Holly.
“Great place, close to highway access, Earns the Superhost title. Clean, respectable, responsive and a real credit to the genuine hospitality Yoopers are reknown for having. Will return and encourage friends to make this a stop on their way to the magic kingdom that is only the UP”

“My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon as we explored Mackinac Island and Tahquamenon Falls. When we arrived, everything was sparkling clean and Terry was quick to respond to any questions we may have had. We loved how close we were to the Mackinac bridge, dark sky park, fudge shops, and Shepler's (ferry to Mackinac Island). There was one afternoon where our plans got rained out, but that's okay because we enjoyed a cozy afternoon just hanging out making dinner, reading, etc. Spending some time out in the courtyard one evening inspired is to hit up the dark sky park and it was honestly one of our favorite parts of our trip. We look forward to a return trip in the future.”
