Located 20 minutes from Mackinaw City and adjacent to trail number 7 with amazing scenery and many opportunities to eat and drink on and off the trail. Cook in the well-appointed kitchen. Relax and entertain in the large living room with 50" TV and 2 large sofas. Rest well in one of the 2 private bedrooms or open loft with two twin beds. The single bathroom has a shower and garden tub on the main level. Close to Mackinaw City/ Mullet Lake.

Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Our equipped kitchen has a pantry, fresh farm eggs, butter, a home-baked item, ground coffee, and teas.

The Elkhorn Log Cabin, located in the scenic town of Wolverine, Michigan, has undergone a meticulous restoration to create an ambiance of warmth and charm. The restoration process involved the careful use of locally sourced, reclaimed woods and materials, resulting in a rustic yet refined atmosphere. The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Conveniently located 6 miles out of Mackinaw City for easy access to Shopping, Mackinac Island ferries, International Dark Sky Park, Wilderness State Park and Sturgeon Bay Beach. The cabin is very close to The North Country Trail & The North Western State Biking & Snowmobiling Trail. Property includes full access to cabin, fire pit, charcoal grill and yard. Located in a separate part of the park for privacy, a short walk to the 2 private restrooms and showers reserved for our yurt guests only is required. We are conveniently located near downtown St Ignace, giving guests local access to the city and everything it has to offer while feeling miles away.
