Historic home built in 1890 with a remodeled kitchen with new amenities. This home features 2125 sq ft of living space, a fenced in back yard, and a back deck. Decorated with an eclectic collection of antiques from the years the home has enjoyed, including new furniture from today. Walk to the hospital, restaurants, Mt. De Sales school, and Mercer University. They say beauty is on the inside, and it certainly is the case with her. We are working on returning her outside asap.

Stay in a fully renovated craftsman, 1920's cottage situated on the corner of a large pecan grove, across from the Central State Hospital infirmary. Walking, driving or trolly tours are available to learn all about the history of one of the nation's oldest and largest institutions for the mentally ill. Note: Buildings are closed to the public. There are no tours inside buildings.

Janelle’s cottage is named after my Mom, Janelle Perkins. She was a public health nurse who had a great love for God and people. This is a handicap friendly home. We want you to enjoy the slower pace in Cochran Ga. This is a pet friendly home whether it’s the 4 legged kind or the feathered kind. They are welcome. We do not charge a pet fee or a cleaning fee. We are approximately 4 miles from Middle Georgia State University and approx. 30 minutes from Warner Robins.
