Take it easy at our beautiful cabin in Hot Springs, NC surrounded by nature and farm animals. Panther Branch Farm spans 30 acres of mountains, streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. On our small farm we have chickens, bees, goats, and alpacas that love to be hand-fed. Originally a pole barn workshop, the cabin has been expanded into a peaceful retreat built with local lumber. Unwind in our outdoor spa with sauna and a spring bath or simply relax and take in the serenity of the National Forest.

The Doe Branch Cabin - Modern Mountain Retreat

Sense of Place. That is the inspiration here, at least in part. The cabin is situated on 12 private acres in a remote corner of Madison County, surrounded by national forest, streams, and clear mountain air. The property has a history of artist residents, and we encourage creatives of all types to come seek the inspiration found by those that came before. The town of Marshall, an artistic enclave, is 25-30 minutes away, and downtown Asheville is a 45-50 minute drive. Hiking and rafting nearby.

Minutes away from max patch on the Appalachian trail and 30 mins from downtown Hotsprings. Relax listening to the beautiful sound of Meadowfork creek. This cabin was constructed by hand in 2019 and is designed with both style and calm in mind. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel.
