The property was exactly as described and pictured. The location is only 10 minutes from the center of Tours, and very close to many of the most popular chateaux. The unit is completely private, well insulated and very quiet. There is a gate restricting access to the property, so it was very safe. All the amenities are provided, and if they are not on location, Dominique will do everything to provide them. He is a delightful host, friendly, helpful and so accomodating. Having sheep, goats and wild rabbits a few feet away added to the pleasure of staying here. In nice weather, walks along the river are only steps away. Highly recommend.

We stayed 3 nights at the troglodyte home of Jerome and Marie-Aymee and had a great time. The troglodyte cave was beautifully restored into a very comfortable and welcoming environment . The hosts did an excellent job decorating the place. The country location is beautiful and easy to get to various châteaux and amenities. The hosts provided an excellent list of recommended restaurants in the area. Would recommend and return with no hesitation.

A great house and host. Good location in the center of the valley

So many words come to my mind as I write this review, but I think the two that describe it so well are idyllic and peaceful. We were so incredibly thrilled to book Martine’s home for our stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer. The bedrooms were large and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. We woke up to the sound of birds chirping, and the peacefulness of village life. Yet, even though it was a small village, they had so many amenities (Boulanger, Charcuterie, restaurants, markets, Patisserie) that were within walking distance from the home. After the hustle and bustle of Paris and Bordeaux, it was absolute heaven to be able to stay at their home in Rochecorbon. If I could, I would definitely give it more than five stars.

We had a great weekend! The place was spotless, very clean, comfortable and fully compliant with the listing. The host was welcoming and available, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We recommend this listing without a second thought and will not hesitate to return!

We had a great time in Avignon. Laure is very welcoming. The place is more than peaceful which allows for total relaxation. However, everything remains nearby and lots of things are to visit nearby. The accommodation is more than clean and well-equipped. We regretted not having booked more nights and we treasure the place to come back:)

Excellent stay in Luynes in this small haven of peace, great for relaxing in peace. Jean-Michel was very available and friendly. We'll be happy to go back in the future:)
