Cottage at the edge of the woods

Small chalet in the heart of the Morvan Natural Park. Located on the edge of a small hamlet close to all shops and surrounded by many hiking trails. Please note: We have just created a second cottage for 2 people at the back of the garden (see photos). It is separated from the chalet by a small stream and a fence. The entrance to this gîte and its outdoor area are on the forest side: the two gîtes are therefore completely independent, and there are no neighbours overlooking them.

A stone's throw from Lake Chaumeçon, known as "Little Canada", in the heart of Morvan, we welcome you to this authentic and spacious chalet, large living room with bay windows, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, mezzanine, terrace and large garden, overlooking the wooded hills without neighbors. Serenity, gentle landscapes, proximity to forests and lakes, hiking, access to water activities and heritage. Sweety, our adorable independent little cat, will share your stay.

Gîte de La Bascule

The cottage is an old house completely renovated in 2019 with a terrace that offers a beautiful view of the Morvan. It is located very close to Lake Crescent and Chastellux Castle, a few kilometers from Vézelay, Avallon, Bazoches. Our region lends itself to hiking, cycling or horseback riding in unspoiled nature and allows fishing or swimming enthusiasts to indulge in their favorite pastime. La Bascule is a hamlet of Chastellux, located between Avallon and Lormes.

Need a break for two? Head to Burgundy, 1.5 hours from Paris. Our cabin with private spa will allow you to recharge your batteries in the countryside. A few kilometers from Toucy and its market but also not far from Auxerre, the medieval site of Guedelon or the Château de St-Fargeau, it is the perfect place to disconnect for a weekend or more.
