Broadening our horizon, the Donnalucata vacation home is a good starting point for excursions to the beautiful archaeological sites of Syracuse, on the eastern side, and the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento, on the western side. Running towards the interior of the island, other easy-to-reach destinations such as Piazza Armerina, with the famous Villa del Casale, or Caltagirone with its artistic ceramics. And then there's the sea, our sea, to be experienced all year round for those who practice windsurfing, kite surfing, canoeing or sailing, but also just for walking (the beaches are endless) or for an off-season swim! A' naca is an old renovated house with a courtyard full of plants overlooking Ibla. The whole apartment on the fresh ground floor is for our guests only, there is a private entrance, a living room with library, sofa and courtyard view, a fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, a spacious room with a double bed and two single beds and the and a beautiful single room with a view over Ibla. Stargazers can sleep in the hammock out in the courtyard and, if you are lucky, hear the owls' calls.

Retreat into nature with magnificent views

Magical stone hut built in 1818 lovingly converted with local materials into a simple, elegant home. Perched on a mountain ridge with valley vistas on all sides and a magnificent view into the Baroque town of Scicli with the sea beyond. A metal gate two fields away leads you into the land, where our neighbouring farmer grazes his cows and goats amongst the ancient carob grove.
