On the day of your arrival, this little cocoon will welcome you between 5pm and 11:30pm (or even from 2pm depending on availability). You will enter independently thanks to a procedure that I will send you around 3 p.m. (in pdf by WhatsApp or in photo by SMS). I will of course remain available at that time if you have any questions or concerns, as well as throughout the stay. On your checkout date, you can leave the property until 12:30 p.m. at the latest. Instructions will be noted on the front door.

Lavaur gite for 4 in the Tarn -Gite de Piquetalen

Le Gite de Piquetalen was built in 2007, is architect designed and provides 3 star accommodation for 4 people. Set in a rural hamlet close to Lavaur, the gîte is quiet, very well equipped and offers a perfect base from which to explore the local area. The gite has a large open planned living room and kitchen with a very high ceiling and exposed roof beams which give the area a very spacious feeling.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.
