Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mason County

This was my first time reserving an AirBnb home and it was wonderful. Lauren keeps her home spotless, cozy, secure, and smelling good for a restful and relaxed vacation. I really love the comfortable and stylish aesthetic of the home as well, with plenty of natural light coming in. I enjoyed how close it is to downtown so I was able to spend a day walking around, shopping, eating, and taking in the scenery. I am very impressed with my stay and so happy I chose this home for my first experience!

We were super impressed with the living space. We slept 6 people very comfortably. Lots of unexpected touches in the house that made us feel like home. We enjoyed it very much!

the house was absolutely perfect. We have two young kids and Vanessa went above and beyond for them. She had a kids swing, highchair, bumbo seat, kids toys and books. That took a lot off of our plate having to pack all of that. It was seriously perfect. 5 stars will be back.

The wind turbines were pretty cool to see and listen to. Also at night time you can see the stars clearly, a great view to witness.

I’ve stayed at Shane and Lil’ P’s place a couple of times now. It’s well-apportioned and set up for gatherings. Plenty of space to mingle, large dining tables, a bevy of cocktail glasses, accommodating back yard, great modern kitchen with island. Interior is real pretty with nice wood and old Victorian feel. Easy walk to pretty much anyplace you want to go (except maybe the grocery store), including the shore. Nestled in downtown, but residential and quiet just the same. Shane was responsive to my trifling needs and took care of them quickly. I like staying here and you will too.

We had an absolute blast staying at "In The Woods"! It exceeded all our expectations—honestly, the pictures don’t quite capture how amazing it is. The property offered perfect privacy, and both the interior and exterior were fantastic. Just a quick heads-up for anyone towing a trailer: the dirt roads leading in can be a bit bumpy and slow. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

Shawn’s place was a treat. Right on the water with a large driveway and deck. House is updated and was clean. Garage had a heater in it which was a plus. Multiple TVs throughout the place were nice. Shawn was communicative and let us do a late checkout on New Years Day. Would come back!

Such a charming house! We really enjoyed our stay (2 adults, 2 kids). Everything was nice and clean, the decor was fresh and inviting and the hosts provided everything we needed. The location was convenient for being near the water and many restaurants and attractions. We would definitely recommend it and consider staying here again in the future!

Wish it were available during the winter months. Great location in downtown Scottville. It had all the amenities we needed.

We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

Everything was great and the staff was very friendly. Great location!

We had a great visit and would be pleased to return in the summertime when we can enjoy the water location mofre directly!

We were originally supposed to been here two weeks before. My wife became ill three days before we were to leave and Melissa worked with us to find alternative dates. A fantastic host and very friendly. The space has everything you need and more. The town and the coast, extremely charming. Fall of the year, beautiful! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay along the coast of Michigan. You can see the water from the window and walk two streets to the beach, simply cannot say enough about the house and the area where we are staying.

This was our 2nd time staying here, & we really enjoyed it again. Spotlessly clean, well stocked kitchen, location was great too, just 2 blocks from downtown. Watched the Xmas parade on Saturday, plus shopped at many local shops. Would highly recommend this place!

Troy's place was amazing! It was very comfortable, stayed cool at night, very roomy, plenty of tvs, had an amazing fireplace, it's secluded, it was everything we were looking for! Troy was super awesome and answered any questions we had, and gave us fishing advice!

I stayed for a total of 6 weeks and I couldn't have felt more like home than my own home. If there were any issues Linda responded immediately. I loved the apartment and felt completely comfortable and LOVED the king size bed!!! I would love to come back and plan on doing so.

Excellent stay for our family. We try to visit family in Ludington on the Fourth of July every so often and this was a wonderful location. Rachel and the co-hosts were very responsive. Our family had a wonderful stay and from our experience in the area I can say that it was good value as well as Ludington gets very over priced and crowded on the Fourth of July, whereas Hamlin is more peaceful and comfortable. The condo was spacious and nicely furnished. It’s a little hard to get a three level to be the most comfortable temperature for everyone but that is just a problem for any three level structure. Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards for amusement and the teepee with the fire pit was nice as well. We would happily stay again if they would have us.

Wonderful apartment. Had everything we needed. The shower temperature wasn’t working correctly but the host quickly responded. Pullout couch was quite comfortable. There was fast EV charging across the street which was super convenient . Would gladly stay here again!

Beautiful spot in downtown Ludington. We were able to walk to restaurants and down the beach. The master suite has imo the best and most comfortable bed.

Easy registration; unit as simple to enter as home; host and co-hosts friendly and neighborly; unit as shown if not better; well stocked for preparing and cooking; nice beds and bathrooms; wood floors throughout; nice windows with lake view; nice and serene grounds with best kayak launch I have ever seen - anyone could get in and kayak - seriously. I would easily recommend to a friend without reservation.

The place was exactly as described. We will definitely stay here again. The location was close to shopping, restaurants and the city beach. We walked everywhere. Wendy was an amazing host and she went above and beyond to make us feel special. Thanks Wendy. Hope to see you again soon.
