Cob Cottage

Channel the pursuit of pause in this one-of-a-kind earth house. The cozy retreat was hand-sculpted using local and sustainable natural materials, and features a central living space with cantilevered slab stairs leading to the loft bedroom. Guests have access to the entire cottage and surrounding property. We live in the neighbouring house, and are happy to give advice or answer questions to help you make the most of your stay. The neighborhood is quite rural and mostly agricultural with several farms and a small private vineyard. The home is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 20 minute walk from a family grocery and deli specializing in local organic produce. Mayne Island has a small community bus. Times and routes are limited, particularly in the winter. It will stop at the driveway. We also have an official hitch hiking system with signed Car Stops where you can wait for a ride. Usually you don't have to wait long. We are happy to offer pickup and drop off at the ferry dock as a courtesy to encourage car-free travellers, on days when the community bus is not running. Please let us know ahead of time that you'll be coming without your own transportation, and we will make sure that either we or the community bus (which will drop you off at our driveway) are there to meet you when your ferry arrives. The BC Ferries terminals near Victoria and Vancouver are easily reachable via public transit from their respective airports and downtowns.

Ravens Ridge is an extremely unique piece of property, set in a sunny clearing within our own forest we have a quiet and relaxing environment. Surrounded by wildlife this is a peaceful haven to artists, photographers, authors. However we also have great kayaking within 5 minutes walk, quiet roads for cycling, we have our own 18 hole disc golf course, hiking trails, fishing, swimming beaches, bays for wake boarding and other watersports. Ravens Ridge and Mayne Island has something for everyone!

Our tiny cabin is located on a 14 acres property in the middle of the woods. You will enjoy complete privacy and use of your own area on the land, including a pond. Located 2 min, from the Transcanada Trail, 20 min. walk to the Kinsol Trestle, a World Heritage Site with beautiful swimming holes right underneath the bridge. 20 min. to next Grocery store and 22-25 min to Duncan. Approx. 50 min- 1 hr to Victoria. Pottery lessons are available by request if you have always wanted to try it out.

South-facing, 300 square foot, self-contained room with a private hot tub and ocean view. Situated on 10 lovely acres near Dinner Bay park, this studio on the ground floor of the main house has a private entry through french doors off of the covered deck. Perfect for a couple (not suitable for children) or a solo Gulf Island getaway. There is no kitchen, but the room includes a small fridge with freezer, BBQ, microwave, toaster, coffee and tea. Restaurants and shops are a 10 min drive away.

An amazing place to stay. The space provided includes access to a full kitchen, full bathroom, one bedroom, and two living areas. If access to any other amenities please do not be afraid to ask. Great access to walking trails, hiking, kayaking, swimming and beach combing. A 5 min drive or a 20 min walk will bring you to the arts and crafts studios, local grocery shops, gas station, realestate offices, insurance, bakery, pizza truck, restaurants, liquor store and the local pub.

Situated in 22 acres of untouched forest our charming cottage is just steps from a secluded sand and pebble beach with its incredible waterfront view, fabulous sunsets, trails, and active, diverse wildlife. A stunning 60-90 min ferry trip from the Mainland. No car required! Seal Beach is 3 km from the ferry. Only 1 km from restaurants, a coffee shop, bakery, and 2 great grocery stores. Dinner Bay Private Cottage

The cottage is situated on 14 acres surrounded by forests but with views of the ocean. It has a huge deck where hammocks (which are provided) can be hung and a full size hot tub is nestled in the rocks. It is very private but still easily accessible to the ocean. We recently installed a new hot tub with lots of different jets, lights and seating. It is quite amazing!

Perfect Meadow Cabin

This cozy cabin is located near the ferry so you could easily bike or walk. There's parking available but approx 100 foot walk to cabin. Queen size bed and all the cooking essentials in a very comfortable kitchen set up. Currently no wi-fi. ( but it's coming and we are- after 6 years - putting a TV in the cabin)
