Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mayne Island

This cabin was so dreamy! On our drive in, we spotted a beautiful gray fox and a few deer. The forest surrounding the cabin is just beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. I thought I wouldn’t like to walk to the bath house, but honestly I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s only a short walk, and it gives you multiple chances to spot wildlife. The bath house is clean and has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the French press coffee and slow mornings reading in the cabin

Five stars all around! The Kissingfish Cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We visited with out-of-town family who had never been to the San Juan Islands, and they were absolutely awe-struck—not only by the beauty of the island but also by the charm and comfort of the cottage itself. Every detail was perfect, from the cozy bedrooms to the well-equipped kitchen, the inviting living room, and the serene front and back porches. Thank you for making this lovely home available—it was the perfect setting for our getaway!

the house was absolutely perfect for our group! comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space to hang out. the yard is so peaceful and pretty it was great being able to sit outside and relax. and the pizza oven was obviously a big hit! would absolutely stay here again

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

Absolutely gorgeous home, both inside and out. Comfortable beds, and had everything we would need. Very responsive to questions, and was able to accommodate a late checkout and early check in. Would definitely stay again to enjoy the beautiful Gabriola island.

Our Family stayed In Deborah’s beautiful home for the weekend. It was a great place to reconnect and hang out. The view is spectacular, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We hope that we will be able to come and stay again.

Great place to stay outside Victoria. About a 30 min drive to downtown, but great sightseeing and restaurants within a couple miles. The house is very well cared for and well decorated (love the African art!). The high ceilings makes the space feel larger than it is. Great bathrooms with relaxing tub in the master, and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Would definitely stay again!

We had a nice stay of three weeks at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Victoria as well as close to stunning hiking trails. The place was very clean. We liked that it had a large TV in the living room and another one in the master bedroom. The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for taking the chill off of the downstairs area in the morning, the only time we felt we needed to use it. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of closet space and drawers. We used the second bedroom as an office, and liked that there was enough space for two people to work. The upstairs bathroom featured a huge walk-in shower that was a real treat. We also enjoyed meeting the owner and his friendly dog, Biscuit, who live next door. We thought this airbnb was very reasonably priced and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

It was a very pleasant stay. Woke up to dear roaming around, super cool. Michelle is very responsive and the home is super cozy!

About Place: My wife and I came directly from a 5 star resort in Victoria, BC. Even though the resort was 5 star, we felt there was something missing. Lydia and Andy’s place made us feel like home. Most of the time, we felt just stay in the place and relax because it was very peaceful and gave us very positive vibe! The security of the building was great as well. Very well maintained apartment/condo. If we were to return to Vancouver, we know where to book our stay! About Hosts: They kept checking on us through Airbnb chat (also made sure that they are not overdoing it). The moment we entered the house, saw some good chocolates on the platform along with very cute whale keychain (these small gestures go a long way). They know how to make the guests feel like home through proper arrangements of required items and through communication. Loved it! Thank you so much to the most amazing hosts in Vancouver. We will definitely come back and will highly recommend the place to friends.

Blair was a wondeful host, extremely responsive and accommodating. Their place is conveniently located, in a beautiful peaceful neighborhood and very comfortable. A little home away from home vibes. I look forward to staying here again.

The stay at Jason's was peaceful and refreshing. It's a beautiful spot and nice and clean.

The basement suite was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and it was great to have access to a washer and dryer. Check in/out was easy and Anthony and Leatt checked in several times over the course of our stay with ideas and suggestions for things to do. The neighbourhood is amazing, with tons of restaurants and shops, and easily accessible to other parts of the city. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here -thank you Anthony and Leatt!

place was clean, was exactly what we needed. had some good restaurants around and easy to walk to the sky train, water taxis.

Shannon went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable after a long drive! Responsive when we had any questions. Liam was great with communication as well. This cabin we didn’t want to leave, it’s so cozy and has more than you need for a relaxing peaceful getaway, fire pit outside, hot tub, fire inside, we will be back, walk to Kinsol Trestle bridge, close drive to lake. What a dream it was to stay at this lovely cottage! So cute & cozy with a beautiful outdoor space that we were welcome to explore. Got to meet a couple of Michele’s retrievers our first evening when she came to greet us, which was a treat. Relaxing outside the cottage was such a magical experience with birds chirping, deer grazing, and a cat wandering around seeking pets. The property is also right next to the Mount Parke Regional Park which we enjoyed a spontaneous hike around. We got a chance to walk over to Mayne Island Brewing on Sunday for a couple of beers and to stock up for our visit. We also did our grocery shopping at the Farm Gate Store just down the road from the property and made most of our meals at the cottage. In the evenings we tucked into the VHS and DVD collection which was so fun & nostalgic! Thanks so much, Michele! We hope to be back in the future :)

My family and I had a very lovely, relaxing stay at Jessica’s cabin. It has everything you would need for a weekend getaway. One thing we wish we packed were eye masks as the sun woke us up due to no window coverings!

The views and the place are magical. Shane is an effective and friendly host. He promptly fixed the fire pit, and had us checking in with flexible hours.

We had an amazing weekend at the Osprey Nest! Definitely one of the best-stocked airbnbs we have ever stayed in. The game room was fantastic and gave us plenty to do even during a rainy weekend. Thank you for making the place so welcoming for us. We will be sure to recommend your place to others!

Amazing experience! We had a wonderful stay here. The place was clean, and we enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. The hot tub was spacious, and the hosts were responsive and supportive throughout our stay. We’ll definitely go back again in the summer.
