Holiday rentals with a kayak in McHenry

We had a great time at this place! The property was spacious enough for our group of 11 and could comfortably accommodate up to 15 people. It was nice, clean, and cozy. The host provided clear instructions throughout the house (kitchen, bathroom, walls, etc.), making everything easy to navigate. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and kitchen essentials, and the host even stocked ice melt, which came in handy due to the snow. However, the kitchen appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, oven) were on the smaller side for a large group, and one of the cooktop burners wasn’t working. Also, while the listing mentioned a community heated pool, it was quite cold which dampened our afternoon.

Timber Rock Village has thought about absolutely everything in this beautiful space. There were so many lovely amenities that made us feel right at home, and everything was spotless. The location is great with a view of the lake and convenient walking trail. We’d love to stay again the next time we are in Deep Creek!

This place was amazing! Great access to the slopes for our friends and family ski trip. The game room is a plus and can accommodate for a large group. Beautiful view of the lake and property! Thank you for our stay!

The house is beautiful with huge windows looking out onto the trees and the water. My 14year old grandson loved the privacy and comforts if the upstairs. We loved the warmth and cozy feeling of the gas fireplace. The location is perfect. We were close to the parks, activities, restaurants and a great grocery store. We hiked all week and loved every minute. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. We definitely plan on returning next year.

Absolutely wonderful stay! This is our second time staying here and will try to continue to do so yearly!

I wish there was an extra star for the Host! Lorena was super helpful, always responded less than 30 minutes, and made us feel welcome into her home. Personal touches say a lot, and she had written us a nice thank you card that was on the table when we arrived. It was also nice that we did not have to run out and get toiletries immediately as they were readily available upon our arrival. Lorena was also upfront with an issue involving the oven, however there was a toaster oven readily available if we so choose. I highly recommend her condo to anyone with a small group of people/small family that plans on staying in the Deep Creek area!

Beautiful home. Tons of activities to do both in and around the house. Very spacious and clean. The perfect place for a long weekend getaway.

We found a "six" star gem walking in the door at Woodhaven. The photos, though true to life, could not adequately convey the warmth and coziness of the living quarters, cleanliness of the rooms, well appointed furnishings in the kitchen, high end bedroom linens and abundance of puzzles/games to keep one entertained and engaged. Wendy's attention to detail, hospitality AND ability to orchestrate a "blizzard" was beyond our expectations and imagination. When we connected in October as owner/renter soon changed to feeling like friend/family in February. We thank you for being instrumental in adding to our treasure trove of memories.

It was an amazing weekend in this home. The kitchen, bathroom and linen closet were well stocked and we didn’t run out of anything. The house is right on the water and provided hours of free entertainment. The house contained cable, plenty of DVDs/Bluray movies, board games, and sitting space. Wisp is seconds away by car and minutes by walking. Host was responsive and understanding, even after I lost the house keys.
