Kid-friendly holiday rentals in McKenzie River

This place is dreamy and a wonderful place to relax and host a couple family members. Was visiting my college student and it was absolutely perfect!

this place is awesome!!clean plenty beds and grate location, clear instructions and sara was very respectful, they needed to change batteries to the lock and ask us for permission to doit, if we ever go back to Eugene, she will be my first option if the place is available !!! thank you sara for having us !!

We had 6 adults, 2 teens, a 3 year old and 2 dogs and the house fit us comfortably, a bed for everyone. The amenities were just as they said. Although the house is a bit dated and the kitchen could use some new pans, it was clean and private with a large outdoor area for kids and dogs to run. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive to any questions I had.

The house was wonderful it had plenty of room for all 8 of us! Everyone had their own bed/place to sleep very cute themed rooms and it was just wonderful ❤️

Unknowingly was perfect distance to where we had to travel every day. To the point, we can wake up and walk. It’s a acquaint nice little home. That suited our needs perfectly. I will say. If you’re over 6 feet tall. Call Dibs on the bottom bedroom lol. I kid, all in all it was a perfect day and experience.

Pieter was an incredible host—responsive, accommodating, and genuinely kind. From the moment we arrived, he made sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. The space itself was spotless, smelled amazing, and the sheets were pristine—which we truly appreciated. It was comfortable, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. The location was also ideal, close to everything we needed. What truly set Pieter apart was his kindness. When we accidentally left our iPad behind, he went out of his way to take time out of his weekend to meet us at a restaurant and return it. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. Highly recommend Pieter as a host—thank you again for everything!

Great place, would definitely recommend and will try to stay here again if I’m ever back in town! Meg was very responsive and the photos/description matched the house perfectly!

Juan’s place was the perfect stay for the kids and I. We needed a place to stay for the track meet. It was a 10-15 minute drive from Hayward field and an easy drive to restaurants and coffee. The only thing my oldest son mentioned was he wished one of the bedrooms had a tv so that there was an opportunity to watch something else if someone was watching tv in the living room. That wasn’t even an issue though because we were so busy. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, old Craftsman home. Shower situation was as described, but doable. Would have liked to have the option of a TV to watch movies, but there is wifi, so you're good with a laptop. Location is quiet and a quick drive to restaurants and entertainment. I'd stay here again.

Great place! Open, large, comfortable living space, with great kitchen and beds. Simple, clean and driveway parking. One of our favorites!

I really enjoyed my stay here, Rebecca and Joe were great with communication and the check-in process was super easy. This place was only a few minutes of walk to some of my events, five stars for the location. Totally recommend ❤️ Pro tip: the sofa bed was more comfortable than the main bed, if you also prefer foam mattress over spring mattress.

Truly peaceful and great vibes at this apartment. We felt right at home and enjoyed our short stay very much. Super cozy and close to the university. Host was also very helpful in recommendations and answering any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend.

Loved staying at Lisa's place. Very accommodating. After leaving, both my wife and I wished we hadn't left. We both have a fondness of Lisa, and her two dogs Teddy and Quincy. Very roomy and private with a nice private patio for us and one for our dog Zeus. Plan to return soon.

15 min walk to downtown restaurants. Would be a good 30 min walk to campus I think. Never heard the train. We were greeted upon arrival by two tweekers dumpster diving, but area felt generally safe. Place is in a sort of old apartment complex but it's fine for a couple night stay. Couch is comfy, one of us slept on it, and the extra blankets in the basket were appreciated. TV is good. Bathroom fine except toilet is a bit too close to bathtub and requires one to sit at a weird angle- not a real prob but it's a thing. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to make a simple meal. Parking is fine, right at the window. Other units were quiet. Good value and would stay here again, at this price point.

Kate’s property was full of fun this time of year with all the Halloween decorations! It’s a beautiful setting and has everything we needed in the house.

Quiet space but close wnough to UO campus to walk. Great walking trails in the neighborhood. Perfect for a short stay but I can see how this would be very comfortable for a longer term visit.

Very clean and comfortable. Close to downtown and anywhere you need to go in town. Very responsive host who checked in to make sure everything is 100% We will definitely stay there in the future.

Our stay was amazing. The fully stocked kitchen was super helpful for our Thanksgiving get together. There was plenty of space for us 4 and our dog plus our relatives that came to visit for the holiday meal. Everything was clean and good quality. Rooms were comfy and spacious. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. This duplex is located just down the street from a grocery store and restaurants which was super convenient. We would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming home on Lawrence Street in Eugene. The unit was one of four in a beautifully maintained older house, and it had everything we needed — a cozy bedroom, a pull-out couch, a full kitchen, and even a private enclosed porch that made the space feel extra special. The host was incredibly kind and understanding, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The house itself had such a local, lived-in feel — like we were part of the neighborhood. Plus, having restaurants just steps away made everything super convenient. Overall, it was the perfect home base for exploring Eugene. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming spot with character and a great location.

Overall this place was great for my needs. I found the secondary website to be able to actually reserve annoying though. If I'm renting through airbnb I would like to only put my info and credit card into airbnbs services. I also found unlocking the door with a app on my phone didnt always work and I'm having to stand in the rain waiting for it to unlock or lock so I can leave. You also can not take a hot shower longer than 10 min before it goes cold. But The bed was super comfortable!! Best part.

I felt at home, it was very comfortable, nice fenced in yard for my dog to romp in, all amenities I needed were there. This is now my go to place to stay in Junction City.
