Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Mendrisio District

Ingrid und Pims place is absolutely lovely! We had five amazing days and felt at home as soon as we entered the house. We were warmly welcomed by Monica and a cool bottle of wine in the fridge. Thank you! It’s a lot of space for two people, we mostly spend time on the top floor and the huge Terrasse with a spectacular view on the lake. The kitchen offered any tool we needed, perfect for making food and feeling even more at home. We would love to come back some time and recommend the place to anyone who seeks for a nice place to stay next to the lake with a great starting point leaving to Italy oder Switzerland. The place is very beautiful, very easy to access, private parking, comfortable bedding, but we expected a more thorough general cleaning. In the complex we had a good stay.

My daughter and I spent unforgettable days in Milena's quiet and beautiful house with a fantastic garden and direct access to the lake. Everywhere there are places to linger, be it for sunbathing, reading, apero or eating. The spacious and very clean house is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. Everywhere you have a fantastic view of the lake. The location is perfect, the bus stops very close, so you are quickly in Lugano, Como or Melide even without a car. Morcote is a few minutes' walk away. Milena is truly a Superhost, she was always there for us if we had any questions. Since our car had to be repaired, she also organized everything with the garage. A big thank you also to her son Renato! This property has earned 6 stars!

We enjoyed the hospitality and the great ambience with Erica and Wolfgang very much. If you are looking for peace, exciting conversations and good food, La Crisalide is the right place. Meride is a beautiful village and ideal starting point for hiking and excursions around Lake Lugano. We can highly recommend La Crisalide with their hosts.

Wonderful place with amazing view, very spacious and comfortable. The host was always available and replying super quickly. Convenient location, 10 minutes to supermarket & several restaurants. Closed swimming pool and table tennis were great entertainment for kids. Would really recommend as price/quality and would wish to come again

We had a great stay at the Casa Speranza. The villa was nice with a beautiful view. Denise was also great at communicating with us and always responsive. It made our trip to Ticino much better. We will be coming back for sure when the weather is a bit warmer so we can use the outdoor area ;)

Beautiful surroundings, post bus right at your doorstep. (This is how you can leave the car.) Large house, fully equipped with everything you need! Scorpions can be expected:-) very nice, large outdoor area. Mike was super friendly, will get back to you right away. Absolutely uncomplicated handover. We have enjoyed our holidays!

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We enjoyed staying at Christina's place very much. If necessary, she was always there for us, but otherwise very discreet, hardly noticeable and visible even though she lives right next door. The large pool was great, except for the clearly audible duct traffic it was very quiet. There are many shops, Ponte Tresa and Lugano are quickly accessible and also in the village there are several easily accessible shopping opportunities within walking distance. Just great!! We stayed here the first time, but certainly not the last time. :-)

The listing is very accurate, and the home was fantastic in a great location with a spectacular view. For a very reasonable charge, the pool was heated which made a big difference when the weather was cooler than hoped for. We were a family of 6, and there was plenty of space. Every detail seemed to have been thought through very well. We couldn’t have been happier!

House is high up. Up the streets are very curvy and narrow. But if you can enjoy the view, you are speechless. House is pure luxury. It was a very nice experience and we would be happy to come back.
