The host was helpful, chill and very kind. But he gives you your own space. So you don’t feel overwhelmed. Denize is a beautiful small city. Every week there’s a market, and there seem to be holiday markets too. The people are very friendly, and very interested and welcoming to foreigners which is nice! There’s a pub/dive bar called Trevi, I really recommend visitors to go to. The people are friendly, it’s a “locals bar”, so it’s a great place to get information / recommendations, and it’s only 3 minutes away. There’s a polish butchershop, and two grocery stores less than 5 minutes away. Denize seems to have an older population, but you’re only 30 minutes away from Ghent, giving you the best of both worlds. ( Small town vibes to rest at night, then a bigger university city for the weekends)

Stay is pleasant and I have been in 2022 too! And will do the same. Can easily park your car too!

I actually have nothing to criticize about my stay with Nancy. Everything was clearly explained in advance. The room was large, with a desk, cozy sofa, microwave/fridge/cutlery etc, and a nice bed. Darkroom thanks to velux. Nancy was very friendly even when I called her out of bed in the morning because I forgot my key inside! :D Sorry again:) Definitely recommended if you need to be near Ghent or Flanders Expo!

Leen is a very friendly hostess. The accommodation was great! Everything clean, good bed, lovely pillow and nice that you could use the fridge, microwave, air fryer, hob and coffee machine. Recommended!
