Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Villa Monziani - San Giulio Island

Villa Monziani, an exclusive 17thC lakefront house, one of the oldest on the island in the middle of Lake Orta, recently completely modernised, offers a peaceful and romantic stay in beautiful and historic surroundings, with private boat (10HP - no license required) guarantees full flexibility & our mainland locked garage included. We have 2nd larger 40HP boat/8 seater and a 2nd covered space in same parking garage, both for an extra fee. If less days are required please ask, perhaps can help.

Mari-Iris's house

Apartment located in a quiet and green area of Paruzzaro on the first floor, perfect for those looking for relaxation away from the chaos of the city. Small apartment consisting of a room with a double bed and a single bed, a small kitchen area equipped with all comforts and a bathroom with shower Wi-Fi and free parking for motorcycles and bicycles are available. There are two large free parking lots a few metres from the property. Small dogs are accepted, but please notify Marisa in advance.

You will be warmly welcomed on a bright slope with a large covered terrace overlooking the forests of the Monte Mesma reserve, in a lovingly restored 1700's house just steps from Lake Orta. Kitchenette and dining area on the terrace. The beautiful surroundings are rich in history and stories that, if you like, we will be happy to tell you. Orta S.Giulio is a 5-minute drive, the nearest beaches a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive. Lots of hiking, biking, and hiking options

The accommodation between the two Lakes

The accommodation is in Paruzzaro, very close to Arona (5 minutes) and therefore to the most beautiful places of Lakes Maggiore and D’Orta. Not far away is also the characteristic Lake Mergozzo. It will be an ideal base for visiting both the lakes and the nearby mountains. The nearby cities of Orta and Mergozzo (15 - 20 min.) offer a very characteristic and unmissable landscape. Milan-Malpensa Airport is 30 minutes away and the motorway exit is less than 10 minutes.

In the center of Dagnente, a tiny hamlet of Arona in the hills of Vergante, the lake in front and behind the woods and mountains, is the Asilo Infantile Don Luigi Bellotti. A stone house built at the end of the 18th century, whose restoration was completed in 2017, perfect for those looking for peace and tranquility, but also an ideal base to visit the Maggiore and Orta lakes and the Ossola, Formazza valleys and other places of cultural and naturalistic interest.

Our small house looks like a comfortable and cute 45 m2 studio with an equipped kitchenette, a sofa bed with a king size memory mattress, a Finnish sauna room (an extra fee is required) completely covered with lime wood and heated with the wood-burning stove (as in the real and authentic Finnish saunas), a bathroom with a shower stall, and a bucket for the waterfall of fresh water. Outside, ample green space with pool , canopy and barbecue.
