Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Messina

Alessandro ist ein toller und zuvorkommender Gastgeber! Wir fanden die Unterkunft noch schöner als auf den Fotos und haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt, vor allem mit der großartigen Terrasse und denn bequemen Bett! Die Lage ist als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu den Alcantara-Schluchten, den Ätna oder die Küste super und man kann trotzdem das entspannte Dorfleben und Nähe zur Natur genießen. Wegen des durchwachsenen Wetters haben wir uns doch ein Auto gemietet, auch dabei hat uns Alessandro unterstützt und es war eine gute Erfahrung. Es gibt aber auch Busse, oder die Möglichkeit vom Dorf aus los zu wandern. Im Ort gibt es alles, was man braucht und einen wirklich tollen Obst-Gemüse Laden. Insgesamt hatten wir eine tolle Zeit - vielen Dank Alessandro!

Amazing stay - apartment just as the photos - the view is stunning. Short walk into the centre of town - although gets your heart pumping back home. Hosts were so helpful and friendly and restaurant recommendations were spot on. Had a fabulous 3 days in Taormina. Thank you.

Francescos Landhaus war die tollste Unterkunft unserer Sizilienreise. Wunderschön im Grünen gelegen bietet es alles, was man für ein paar entspannte Tage braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, Francesco ist super hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Filippo’s place was a spacious little gem with an incredible view over the coastline. The apartment was clean and airy, with lots of personal touches from his Sicilian heritage. The view is from the front door veranda next to the walk way rather than a balcony but it really doesn’t matter, it’s stunning. The location is great for getting into both Scilla and Chianalea but beware of the stairs, there really are a lot of them, but as long as you have no mobility issues it should be totally manageable! Filippo was also very communicative and quick to respond so that was very helpful. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would come back again.

This is one of the truly best experiences we have ever had. If you are lucky enough to be physically fit and able to do the walk this is once in a life time stay. The walk up the “goat track”is stunning and the peace and quiet and view of the other islands from the house will take your breath away. The house inside is comfortable and clean and the outdoor covered kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. Alfredo is really helpful and brings you extra things you need.

In het laagseizoen of op minder zonnige dagen is het bangelijk mooi vertoeven daar. Ik vrees echter dat het toerisme de charmante locatie, de rust, het authentieke kader dit de komende jaren de das om gaat doen. Een gezellige, open babbel met de gastvrouw bevestigt deze gedachte. We wandelden vanuit de sfeervolle b&b 16 km in de ongerepte natuur. Een nooit geziene bloemenpracht! De kookmogelijkheden zijn beperkt maar Rosa maakt met veel plezier en tegen vergoeding iets voor je klaar. Ontbijt is eenvoudig, authentiek en inbegrepen in de prijs van het logement. We genoten!

Thanks to Gaetano we had a perfect stay! He was so helpful and even brought a plate of delicious pasta, because we had some problems with our rental car and arrived quite late at the first evening. The accommodation is more than beautiful: you have a perfect view of the Etna and you can try some of the wonderful juicy oranges. Everything was perfect!

Great location just steps away from a beach. The place had everything we needed! It was in a smaller quieter village along the coast about a 40 minute hike up to Taormina. It was incredibly beautiful, but definitely wear proper footwear and bring a bottle of water.

Fabulous, breathtaking views from a wonderful terrace. The apartment is well located away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets but close enough to walk. Aykut was on hand if we needed anything and we had a nice bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. We loved our short stay and will definitely come back for a longer visit in the future.

Great apartment fully equipped with a great variety of kitchen utensils for cooking own meals, very cosy apartment and very comfy bed, great location close walking to everything, far enough away from busy lower beach area to be quiet at night, but also close enough to enjoy beach and restaurants in the day. We enjoyed a quiet few drinks and food at Felix Cafe very close by, we highly recommend for 🍸 food and coffee ☕️

It’s a true gem of the Sicily. Our stay was beyond our expectations. The location and the view were breathtaking. The apartment was very comfortable and private. And of course communication with the host went very smoothly. We highly recommend ❤️

An amazing Airbnb!! Everything was perfect. The view is outstanding from the fabulous balcony. Just steps to everywhere. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The hostess was extremely quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend anyone to stay here.

My siblings and I had a fabulous stay at Daniela’s. She was a great communicator and offered us assistance with getting from the airport to the apartment. The view from the balcony was simply breathtaking and the amount of space in the apartment is amazing. Zero clutter, clean and a mix of modern with traditional. Guido was amazing with recommendations and kind. He was always willing to assist and did so without hesitation or complaints. Very personable! We would definitely return again if we visit the area. Absolutely fantastic place!

Very close to the RcD Centrale (train station), many food stores, bakeries, food/veggie shops around. Apartment is very spacious, has renoved bathroom and is located on ground floor (but no worries, it feels very safe, there is only 1 window overlooking the street). Tiziana replies in, literally, minutes, so there was no communication issues. The only thing I would recommend to be prepared for is quite old kitchen cutlery + some other kitchen equipments like chopping board, glasses, bowls etc. Overall - very nice place for stay in Reggio di Calabria :)

Som alle andre besøgende har skrevet er udsigten perfekt, Maria er meget informerende og havde indkøbt forskellige madvarer. Eneste ting som jeg ikke synes at andre gæster nævner er at bygningen som lejligheden ligger i trænger til en stor istandsættelse.

If I would’ve known, the location was as great as it was, I would’ve booked it for more nights definitely a jewel. Mariana is very responsive and also very professional washing. Machine works spectacular and view from windows are spectacular to.

This unit stands a cut above any AirBnB I can remember staying at. The apartment is exceedingly well put-together and immaculately clean. Its zone is in a quiet corner of Taormina less than a 5-minute walk from the best cannoli joint I can imagine. Communication with the host was easy and they provided many useful recommendations. If I visit Taormina again I would certain look for this place first as it is difficult to imagine another exceeding it.

We loved sitting on the balcony with a fantastic view of Mt Etna and the sea. Our host was helpful with parking and directions to the market and town. Taormina is such a beautiful town with lots to see and do. We were glad we spent three nights here.

Casa Lionessa, the location and the communication with Chiara was above my expectations. The view from of the bay and Mt Etna from the sunny terrace both day and night was spectacular and being across the road from the gorgeous park and moments from restaurants, bars and the Bam Bar made this an ideal romantic holiday location. The support I received from Chiara when my lugguage was lost by the airline was amazing. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place right a few steps away from the heart of Taormina. The hosts were very welcoming, and the flat is very carinlgly set up and spotless. We felt really at home, in spite of the short stay. The garage to park your car is also priceless in such a part of town.

The apartment was just lovely, very spacious, nicely decorated. We had everthing we needed, spectacular view of Mount Etna, an we loved the little balcony. The location couldn't have been better. We received a warm welcome from Ferdinando, he recommended some great restaurants, a map of the city, and pointed out all of the places of interest and where to get groceries. He was very helpful. We loved our stay at this apartment and would highly recommend it. Grazie!
