This is a 5+ review from us. We were absolutely blown away by this amazing little place. Everything was perfect, the extras provided from fresh juice and bacon and limitless fresh produce to the soaps and bath salts for the outdoor bath. Bella the dog was good company whilst we sat over the river with a glass of wine. Everything is of the highest quality and now I see why this place is so highly rated - and well deserved. Definitely stay again. Thanks

The Tarkine Wilderness Lodge is on the very Eastern boundary of the Tarkine Wilderness area. We were hoping to explore other regions of the Tarkine, but because of the isolation of the Lodge, and therefore distance involved, we decided to not do this. There are walks that extend a bit into the forest, but you have to be confident to follow pink-taped trails as the path is not obvious. We did do this and found that there were adequate markers. The Lodge is amazing with beautiful timbers and windows giving 200 degree view from the living area, and each bedroom has its own view and outside entrance. All facilities are of excellent quality.

Wow - a truly spectacular home. We had a wonderful one night stay and were made to feel so welcome. Views are amazing from every room and you feel relaxed the minute you arrive. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The bed was amazing, the shower was excellent, and everything was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed. Rose was kind and polite, and she left fresh fruit and a delicious rose and tangerine jam. Her garden is beautiful, and communication was perfect. Great location too — I’d definitely go back and recommend it!
