This UP diamond in the rough is located in the old mining community of Nort' Lake; once a bustling and rustling proud community (Circa Late 1800's). Now, a quiet neighborhood ideal for bicyclist, hunters, fishing enthusiast and resting after countless adventures here in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. There are so many sites to see within miles of Grandma's House. Though this home was built in the late 1800s, you will immediately feel the warmth and comfort of a modern day living experience.

Take a refreshing respite in the quiet or experience the bustle of historic downtown Calumet from our 500 sqft guest apartment. This studio apartment is lofted above the detached garage with a private entrance. Within walking distance of bars, restaurants, coffeehouses, bakeries, and local ski and snowmobile trails our guest home is a perfect place to explore all the Keweenaw peninsula has to offer. Guests have 24/7 access to the host, when necessary, as I live in the detached main house.

In the living room sit and enjoy the Wifi or take advantage of the provided Netflix. On a nice evening enjoy some time around the backyard fire pit or grill out on the newly built back deck.

Located across from the Marquette Food Co-op with the bike path right behind the building! This is a prime central location to all of Marquette's best attractions - mountain biking, businesses, and night life. Lake Superior is just a handful of blocks down the road too! ***Not a space for light sleepers, but ear plugs are provided!

We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. This is a small log cabin located approximately 10 miles from downtown Marquette in a quiet neighborhood. Its nestled in the woods where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest but is still in close proximity to hiking, biking, cross country ski trails, and Marquette Mountain for downhill skiing and all Marquette has to offer. It is approximately 3 miles from the snowmobile trail and can be accessed using Green Garden Road. A very easy ride to the trail.
