The Schoodic National Scenic Byway is on the far side of Long Cove, and you can hear some traffic noise from outside the RV, but for complete silence check out my other two places by looking at "about me" on my profile.

Hammock Haven Island Dome
Hammock Haven is tuned to Nature’s soundtrack — loons calling at dusk, water lapping beneath the dock, wind moving through the trees, and the occasional splash from someone giving in to the lake. From your island dome, you’ll fall asleep to these rhythms and wake as light skims across the lake. Days unfold to a steady beat: cooking simple meals, drifting in hammocks just above the water, paddling the shoreline, and wandering the wooded trails of our 14-acre island. No headphones required.

Little Frog at The Howling Woods
There is an airiness to this dome-shaped hut. Light streams in from the skylight directly overhead. There is a full size bed and wood stove and a chair that folds into a cot. The home is located in a sunny clearing across the creek from the other homes. It is a short walk from the outhouse and a well where you can fill your water bottles with fresh spring water. There is a bonfire pit with a swivel grill and an outdoor kitchenette with a propane stove, frying pan, kettle and french press.

Ice skate or xc-ski across the frozen lake and watch the bald eagles fly overhead, or relax in the Adirondack chairs in front of the bonfire while you make smores and cook dinner on the grill or over the open fire, then snuggle up inside the tipi while you listen to vintage vinyl and let the owls hoot you to sleep. *Tipi closed March-April.

Tiny House Camper - Trail Access!
Nestled between Portland's fine dining and Sebago's outdoor fun, the Tiny House Camper is a great spot to explore what Southern Maine has to offer. Located with direct access to the Sebago to the Sea Trail - 28 miles of walking & biking paths. Take a dip in the Presumpscot River, play a game of corn hole, and finish the evening with some burgers on the grill and a campfire in the private backyard. **Please read "show more" section and photo captions for important notes.

The "Della Terra"
Experience this spacious 35-foot long travel trailer by East to West just minutes from the entrance to Acadia National Park on the Schoodic Peninsula. At the southern tip of Schoodic Peninsula is Schoodic Point, quite possibly the prettiest spot in all of Acadia National Park. And since it's located in the Schoodic portion of one of the most visited national parks in the US, it only sees about 10% of the tourist traffic the main area of the park on Mt. Desert Island sees!
