Beachfront holiday rentals in Mimizan Plage

We felt right at home. Everything was very clean and tidy. Completely equipped, we didn't need anything. The area is very quiet and well connected. The place is very cozy. For two or even three people it's perfect. There are two free parkings with several squares next to the house. The beach is a couple minutes walk away. Stéphane has been very friendly from the first moment. Even if we didn't speak the same language, we understood each other well. He is very friendly and attentive. He left us a welcome touch, which is highly valued. If we come back to the area in the future, we're clear on where to stay.

Accommodation rented in winter, very quiet because the neighborhood is very little occupied. Beach and city center within walking distance very quickly. Well-maintained and equipped house. Eric is a very responsive host and communication was easy.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful hospitality. Delightful garden for coffee, drinks, lunch... very close to the beach for beautiful walks.

We had a pleasant stay. The house is very well located, access to the beach is a 5 min walk. The house was extremely clean and we did not lack anything.

We had a wonderful time in Stéphanie's cottage. The place is great, everything you need is available. We have not seen the beach and the sunsets so beautifully in Europe. The communication and hospitality could not be better We fell in love and will definitely be back :)

The house lives up to the listing, everything is of quality, from the bedding to the cutlery to the bathrooms. Really very satisfied with the stay in this quiet and relaxing place. Very good welcome from the owners who did their best to arrive a little before the mentioned time because we arrived earlier. The house is located in a very nice private enclosure! With the forest right across to go for beautiful hikes to the ocean. The house is very warm. The owners are very responsive to small problems.

This is a fantastic house which is beautifully designed, comfortable and well equipped. It’s spacious with lots of places to sit and hang out. The pool is large and clean. The house is in a traditional oyster port in front of a canal. We found it fascinating to observe the farmers and learned a lot when buying fresh oysters from them. It’s a pleasant 50 minute walk to Arcachon which we did several times. There is also a train that takes 4 minutes. We loved our stay and hope to come back again. Would strongly recommend staying here.

We loved this quiet and very private property. It was the perfect location - 5 minute walk to Horizon beach, 10 minutes to a well-stocked Auchon grocery store, 10-15 minutes to the daily marché and loads of restaurants and shops. Marie was a responsive, friendly and responsible host. Several light bulbs died while we were there- in a bathroom and two bedrooms- which was a bit odd but not overly problematic, and they were out to replace them within minutes. One thing that didn’t quite fit the description was that it’s not what I consider central air conditioning. There are two large wall units in the living and kitchen area, and 1 in the upstairs bedroom that cool down those spaces incredibly well. The 4 downstairs bedrooms do not have units and it got warm back there on the hottest nights. We slept with doors open to get what we could out of the AC which wasn’t ideal. It’s not a deal breaker for us, but could be improved with fans. Still, overall, an excellent stay!

Penelope presents a fully equipped apartment with a beautiful terrace on the edge of the Bassin d 'Arcachon in a peaceful village with bike paths and walking trails, shops and many activities nearby. Penelope is also available for any questions. Its paradise is an oasis of beauty and tranquility!

We had a great time with my 2 daughters in this very well-equipped bungalow, the terrace and this incredible view... it's magical! Easy access and parking right out front with our car. A peaceful and quiet stay as we dreamed of. A big thank you to Stephane for hosting us and for his availability.

Wonderful spot to stay in Arcachon! We were close to the beach but also close to the city centre where there were lots of restaurants and activities to do. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

House nestled in a very nice corner of greenery. Clean, very nicely decorated. Functional, equipped. A stone's throw from the beach and quiet . A very beautiful living room. Impeccable bedding and sanitary facilities. François is helpful and patient, even with space questions🤣. Too short stay! Thank you for everything!

Family trip out of season. The accommodation is very well arranged and bright. The skatepark and the little games right next door filled the kids. Still a little far from the beach to go with a stroller (excluding jogging), we got closer by car, no problem in low season 🙂

Very nice house, especially if the weather allows you to stay outside. The outdoor area is much nicer than expected. The sofas are very comfortable and can accommodate quite a few people. Location is great, and both beaches are within walking distance. So is the market. We had a great stay. I just thought that beds were a wee small, and soft. I also got a little annoyed when I found out that sheets and towels were not included.

The villa is in a good location. Quiet. It is spacious, very well decorated and equipped. Parking is a plus. The bathrooms are large. The city center and beach are very close. The owners are very nice and responsive.
