Stay with a dog at the "Protective Cat Cafe Honten", limited to one group per day, 1 night with cafe breakfast included

You can stay at a cat cafe for rescued cats. All spaces are rented out outside of cafe hours. The cat space is completely separated. Cats are not allowed in the cafe or accommodation space. You can interact with the cats in the cat courtyard. You can eat and drink while watching the cat courtyard from the cafe. You can see the night view of Nagano city from the cafe space. Dogs are also welcome. Please bring everything you need for your dog. However, pets are not allowed in the cat garden. You can come and go freely in the back space. Breakfast with cafe menu. The terrace will be removed in December as it is severely deteriorated. Cosplay photography and BBQ will no longer be available. Please understand. From the cafe, you can see the Zenko-ji Temple, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple, famous for its autumn leaves, is right in front. 1 hour by bus from Nagano Station. Take the bus bound for Hoshina Onsen. Get off at Kiyomizu-dera Daimon-mae bus stop and walk for 5 minutes. Please note that there are few buses. The road is steep and narrow near the inn. When coming by car, a 4WD vehicle or tire chains are required in winter. Amenities include additive-free and fragrance-free soap bars Late check-in is also possible.

After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. The time flows graceful here, while the interval of farm labor or works in the mountain. It is a special time to have Coffee or Beer while looking at Mt. Morai on the other side. You can spend time, being surrounded by nature... reading books slowly, taking a walk the mountain, listening songs of birds while lie on a hammock in the forest.
