Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Minamiboso

There are some places that remind you why you love Airbnb — and Hiroki’s home in Chigasaki is one of them. A true gem: bright, beautifully designed, nestled beside a peaceful Japanese garden. Just steps away is a charming little café run by a kind and talented host, serving delicious meals. And the five bicycles provided? They allowed us to explore the town at our own pace, all the way to the nearby beach. Chigasaki is perfect for a few days of slow life, far from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Without a doubt, this is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. A place we leave reluctantly, but that makes us want to come back.

The place was amazing. Really clean and cosy. Has everything you need as well. We rlly loved the place. The neighbourhood is quiet. Convenience store and food options available. However, the train station is quite a walk. Hirai is about 18 mins walk, the other line is about 7 mins walk. Overall rlly good if you don’t mind the walk. Host is rlly responsive and nice as well~ instructions were clear and I had no issues with the place

娘のテニスの試合会場から近かったため、こちらを利用させて頂きました。 初めての予約で不安でしたが、ホストの方の対応がとても丁寧で宿泊前から安心でした。 お部屋も写真通りでとても綺麗で、 大人5人でしたが快適に滞在できました。 また白子に行く際は利用させて頂きたいと思います。

Highly recommend this Airbnb is you are looking to stay near the airport. The house is very modern, high tech, and new amenities. The hosts were extremely proactive with their communication and shared some great information. They meet us at the house for check in and to show us everything in the house. Like most places we stayed in Japan, it has a fair amount of stairs but was very cleanly laid out and had some extra touches of drinks and treats when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay and would encourage others to consider if looking to stay a little of the outskirts of Tokyo (two train lines, great grocery stores, and restaurants located within 15 min walk).

We arrived really early and needed to leave our luggage at airbnb before our check in time and our host was very accommodating.

De mooiste en grootste plek waar we verbleven in Japan. Zorgeloos geslapen en genoten van de rust en de zee voor we onze vlucht naar huis moesten nemen. This stay was perfect for our first stop in Japan. The house is quiet but also located close to a station, shops, and restaurants. She is very thorough in her instructions and added some extra nice touches to our stay.

Wonderful hosts! I cannot say that enough. We were picked up and dropped off at the station coming from Narita. The house is just as you see in the photos and everything is well taken care of. Whenever we had concerns or questions, there we had a response. For a big trip internationally, the recommendations were well received and the hosts helped us with travel and figuring out where to get on the train and how to get around. Facilities inside were great. Air conditioning with fans. Washer was available to use. Just a notice for potential lookers. I guess you could say we were in the 'suburbs' of Tokyo. Travel is a little longer than usual by train but we adapted well and planned around that. There are stairs up to the main floor. A little narrow, so if you are okay with that, then this is a great place to stay. Just make sure you follow house rules and you will have a great time. I have no real negatives to say.

The Airbnb was wonderful, a good amount of space and all the amenities needed. The host was very friendly and happy to help out with any requests we had and had recommendations for things to do/buy while there. It was perfect for a longer term stay with all necessities nearby and a good yakitori restaurant downstairs

Great value and convenient. Though i would suggest travellers to bring their own towels s these were not provided. Overall, it’s a pleasant stay especially this close to city centre at this price.

Smaller than expected, but in great location to visit senso ji temple.

Väldigt bra och rymligt boende i ett fint och vackert område. Lägenheten rymde 3 personer och hade ett fullt utrustat kök och stort badrum. Hiss upp till lägenheten var hjälpsamt när vi hade flera resväskor med oss. Området är tryggt, lugnt och hade många restauranger och bra tågförbindelser. Väldigt nära till tunnelbanestation och många conbinis som hade öppet dygnet runt. Vi kände oss som hemma och skulle absolut bo där igen. Rekommenderar starkt.

Everything was great during our stay. The only thing is that it is on the fourth floor with no elevators so it is a little hassle when arriving and departing with luggage and there is no iron. Also, It is about 30 minutes from downtown Tokyo so transportation was a little expensive Other than that, a flawless stay and would recommend for small group traveling to Tokyo.

Place is easy to access, very nice and comfort beds, spacey easy for 5 people to walking around. Near to station of Skytree and asakutsa, beautiful surrounding... alot of park, and next to sumida rivers... Skytree tower is on the sight, nice view on the night.

Fantastic location and squeaky clean! Easy to check in, great “user guide” for Japanese appliances. Highly recommend!

Masami was amazing! From the booking process to the stay, she was extremely communicative and responsive. Her guides in the home was thorough and left me feeling confident when navigating appliances in a difference language. The location was also very convenient. I would definitely recommend Masami!

As mentioned in other reviews it was a very tidy and appropriate airbnb for travels around Shinjuku. The bed was also extremely comfortable

Très bon emplacement, distance à pied jusqu'à la station "Otsuka". Beaucoup bon restaurants à la proximité. Quartier calme. Phoenix est toujours très réactive, il est très compréhensive et aimable. 2 chambres spacieux, un balcon avec la lave linge. Il y a un placard pour chaque chambre. Les parapluies sont disponible. J'ai un petit problème avec la lave linge et j'ai signalé ce problème à Phoenix. Il a réagit rapidement. Je recommande.

忙しい中での利用だったため、わからないことについての返信が速く、とても良かったです。また、場所よ道案内も非常にわかりやすく、安心して利用することができました。

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

The apartment was great, the location was great, and Bryan was very flexible with all our needs! Definitely one of the best places to stay in Tokyo. We would definitely recommend his place to a family visiting Tokyo and looking for a comfortable stay!

Hitomi took amazing care of me and my daughter while we were her guests! She sent us a detailed list of recommendations for the neighborhood including kid-friendly highlights. When my daughter needed to go to the doctor, she sent a list of clinics. She also helped me ship some luggage to make my train trip easier. She was an incredible host, always going above and beyond. Nice little spot in a great location! We had a blast :)

A cozy place in a quiet neighbourhood. There are two subway stations nearby so commuting was a breeze. The apartment was exactly as described. The washroom was clean and efficient and having two toilet seats really helped, though fitting into the smaller toilet needed some gymnastics. Though portrayed as two bedrooms, it’s impossible to fit the second bed in the kitchen cum dining area. If there are three of you then everyone has to sleep in the same room. There were small niggles like bedside lamp not working and a bedside table drawer coming off. Easily checked sorted before guests arrive. The balcony definitely needs scrubbing. Overall a nice, pleasant and peaceful stay. Mathew is doing a great job. This place is highly recommended.
