Shoe Cream Inn is a large private inn in the centre of Higashikawa Town.5 minutes by car to Canmore Ski Resort, 7 minutes by car to Kitron, the town's hot spring, 30 seconds on foot to 7-Eleven, 2 minutes on foot to the Sentopia library, 5 minutes on foot to the Rishiri bar, and 6 minutes on foot to the On the Table restaurant. A large bungalow of 110 square meters was carefully renovated with furniture from the 1970s and turned into an inn.Inside the house, carefully crafted by Japanese carpenters, a white Dutch table, Hungarian dining chairs, an Italian glass coffee table, and a Japanese audio set have been carefully selected and arranged. This log house is a 15-minute drive from Asahikawa Airport and a 3-minute walk from Kita-Biei Station. From the window you can see the melancholy single-wire train. The loft has manga, books, a collection of Ghibli puzzles made by the owner, and a projector to enjoy movies and anime on a big screen. In summer and autumn, you can also enjoy barbecues outside. Cooking appliances are also available, so you can easily buy ingredients and cook. The owner is nearby, so if you have any questions, I am always available to help. There are dogs, cats, goats, ducks, and chickens. If you're lucky, you might be able to interact with them. Breakfast usually includes rice balls.
