“A great stay with Joe.Nice room, clean and large. The big plus are balconies and large wardrobes.Personally,I loved the view from my window to the gardens with olive trees. On the other side there are rooms with a view of the basilica. Good location,4 minutes by car from the sanctuary, on fot maybe 15minutes. And Joe is a wonderful host, always smiling. He gives information about the region and the city very willingly, and has brochures about the sanctuary. He has a lot of knowledge. His advantage is also patience(I mean my friend, a very complicated tourist). He answered all of my friend's questions. And at some point it was an avalanche of questions.Thank you Joe for patience.I felt like I came to the family , like I would have know Joe for for a long time.Joe can create such a great atmosphere, and on the other hand he can by very discreet.I liked staying with Joe and I will be back for sure.Thank you Joe for your hospitality, and also for you nice friend Tiago, whom I could count on if Iwanted to know anything. Thank you again and I will definitely come back.”

“The room we have is located in a beautiful house, about twenty minutes from Fatima. We were very well received by Mariana who put all her heart to make us feel at home. The breakfast offered is simply splendid and the equipment of the house (swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi) allow you to spend an unforgettable stay. We loved our weekend near world-famous pilgrimage sites and we recommend this address without any hesitation.”
5 km from Fatima, this house is typical of the Sierra de Aire region, built in stone with many centuries of history. It is inserted in a recovered village (Pia do Urso). Here you will find a quiet space to rest, enjoying the peace transmitted by the sounds of nature. If you are a hiking lover or a mountain biker here you will find answers to your hobbies. There is! ... and do not forget the camera, we will be here to provide you with a good stay. See you later.
“I stayed at the cottage for a weekend trip from Lisbon, and it was delightful. Not knowing the area, there were plenty of places to visit: little walks accessible directly from the house; visiting surrounding towns/cities, and also walks within the national park. I would recommend coming by car, as it was very nice for us to freely move around the beautiful area. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities we wanted. The bed was firm but comfortable. The only drawback, I’d say, was that the interior received little natural light, so we had to have the lights on even during the day (the stone houses seem to always have very small windows...). Our visit was during the off-season (feb) and there were two heaters which made the house cosy. João Carlos was extremely nice and welcoming — an excellent host!”
