Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Montecrestese

Perfect stop over after coming down St. Gotthard. Had a warm welcome. The dogs were happy to be able to stretch their legs and run around ( closed garden ❤️!). And Google manages the communication in any language 😁 Will always try to come back again !

We had a fantastic stay with Nicole and Christian. The house is very spacious and easily fit our group. It is designed in a way to feel very private, and you have a nice big balcony in front with a stunning view of the city, the lake, and the mountains across. The footpath to walk to downtown passes right by the house and there is a bus stop nearby, so it’s easily accessible from Locarno. The house was very clean, and we did not hear any traffic from the road. We really enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed to make our meals. Nicole and Christian were very responsive, accommodating, and easy to reach. We’d love to stay here again!

Very happy to have stayed at Davide's place again. We feel at home in this beautiful perfectly restored rustico. The village is a little gem and the place is very quiet. In short, the whole family loves it.

The apartment is spacious, perfectly clean and you have everything you need and from the terrace you have a fantastic view of the lake and the three islands. The hosts are very nice, courteous and helpful. We would definitely come back.

Ascona and Locarno are within easy reach. The flexibility at check-out was particularly pleasant. Absolutely recommended, we'll be happy to come back!

We had a great time at Piroska's! The apartment is in the heart of Ascona. Spacious, very clean and Piroska is a super host. Always again!

Again it was a pleasure staying at Toms place - the place is perfectly situated close to car parc north (bus to lifts) and nice to see quality materials as well as a quality equipped kitchen. Second time renting from Tom will not be the last time.

Marc is an excellent host. On the one hand, the communication is fluid and quick and on the other hand the apartment is very nice and well located. Impeccable cleanliness.

The apartment is very tastefully decorated and you have a magnificent view of the mountains. The beds were very comfortable, even the double bunk bed. We also liked the neck pillows. Shopping can be done in a short time with the help of the oblique lift. Unfortunately, it was broken for the last three days. Then it gets more time-consuming. We really appreciated the stay =)

The apartment offers the best view of the Matterhorn in all of Zermatt: really spectacular! It was very organized and equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfasts and dinners on your own. We had a dishwasher at our disposal (not a washing machine, which can still be used for 2 francs). The bed was comfortable; those with special needs can talk to the host to request another pillow, but I personally had no problems, even having a certain cervical sensitivity. The shower is great and the heating in the apartment works great, making the stay very comfortable. Access is easy: you can take the bus to the chapel, then walk about 500 meters along the road and another 200 meters through a path in the woods. We recommend using a luggage cart. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely apartment, great location, quiet, but close to the centre of town (around 10-minute walk to the main station and Sunnegga funicular entrance), with a view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. The bus stop opposite was useful to get to the Glacier Paradise lifts to Cervinia. Good communication with the host, easy check-in process, very clean, well-equipped, nice welcoming touches (chocolates, etc.), good secure ski room, lift. As a family of 3 adults, this was an excellent base for a week's fantastic skiing in Zermatt.

This was the perfect place for 2 couples. We wanted peaceful, relaxing and views- this house was perfect. It was too cold to use the pool but we enjoyed the view from the pool. The hottub was clean and felt good on the chilly mornings. Beds were comfy and had all the amenities. The neighborhood kitty cat was so sweet and visited us every evening. You do need a car to get around which we had. Cant wait to go back!!

Beautiful surroundings, post bus right at your doorstep. (This is how you can leave the car.) Large house, fully equipped with everything you need! Scorpions can be expected:-) very nice, large outdoor area. Mike was super friendly, will get back to you right away. Absolutely uncomplicated handover. We have enjoyed our holidays!

You won't get many better places in the world to wake up and open your doors to. It's spectacular. The lake appears quieter on this side. when put paddle boarding felt like you had the lake to yourself at times. Bellagio was in easy reach by car with lots of restaurants, take-aways and a couple of decent supermarkets. The public area by the water was used at the weekend but it didn't stop us doing anything.

We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous apartment, we really enjoyed the private terrace and outdoor seating areas. The location is ideal for walking into the centre of the village or for taking ferries around the lake, and with a car was ideal for driving up into the hills. We particularly appreciated the more traditional decor which added to the character of the house and made our stay feel authentic. Thank you so much Roxana and family, we hope to visit again.

The house had excellent views, well furnished, good amenities( in kitchendidn't make use of the kitchen) and easy commute from Como and Bellagio. highly recommend the place

This place is a dream come true. The view of the lake and the little islands from two floors of the house and the terrace is absolutely spectacular. We did not want to leave to explore the area - it seemed sufficient to just sit and watch the lake for hours. The house is also furnished with a lot of taste and the surroundings are very quiet - which added to the overall well-being and relaxation. The only thing that might top the place is Simon, the host. Very friendly, easy going and always ready to help. We were welcomed by a set table with bread, cheese and a bottle of wine. We definitely want to come again!

Loved our stay in Menaggio! The house was great and we felt right at home. It was clean, tidy, and the owner was very quick to respond to messages and sent the house manager within 20 minutes to help with something. After seeing the different towns in Lake Como, Menaggio was 100% the best to stay in. The town is so cute and felt a bit more spacious with less tourists compared to the others. A good amount of delicious restaurant options and a quick walk to the ferry. The house was exactly what we needed and the pictures do a good job showing what it is like. It is up on a hill with a convenient walking path to the town. Down to town was an easy 5 minutes, getting back to the house was a true uphill but only took 8 minutes and we really enjoyed the walk back after dinner. The views of the lake/town from the house and on the walk are breathtaking. We also had a car that we parked near the house easily with their parking pass.

We stayed here on our honeymoon. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Lake Como. The apartment is located in a beautiful old Italian villa with private gardens with a secure gate. We loved walking down to the town of Bellagio while enjoying the jaw-dropping beauty of the surrounding landscape. When we arrived we were greeted by Elena who couldn’t have been more welcoming and lovely. She made sure to check in throughout our trip to give us tips and recommendations and it was greatly appreciated. Giulio also sent us amazing recommendations before we arrived and made sure we had a hospitable welcome. We highly recommend Giulio’s apartment and can’t wait to come back for another stay!
