The nearest shops (bakery, grocery store, butcher's) are 4 km away in THENAY, and all other shops are 7 km away in CONTRES. It is not a converted cellar but a real dwelling carved out of the hillside and inhabited for more than three centuries. Furnished while preserving the original materials as much as possible, it is a cosy and warm nest with a pretty, well-enclosed garden, close to amenities.

There is a private heated pool from May 1 to October 15 (4x3 x1.40), no one overlooks the cottage and disturbs its tranquility............

La grange de Jean

Located in Thésée, 17 km from Beauval Zoo, in a quiet and peaceful environment, the "La Grange de Jean" gîte can accommodate up to 10 people. You will stay in a fully renovated old barn with awning, with 4 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. A large (unfenced) plot of land extends between vineyard and forest. Please note, bed sheets, towels and cleaning fee are not included in the price.

The Cave of Moulin de la Motte Baudoin

Welcome to the Grotte du Moulin! This natural loft is embedded in a limestone mound and will surprise you with its irregularity. It consists of a large kitchen open to the living room and a bedroom with bathroom separated by a sliding garage door. In the bedroom, you have a double bed (160 cm) and in the living room a single bed (90 cm) with a non-convertible sofa that can be used as a small bed.

Our cottage is an old barn from the 19th century. It consists inside of a single volume, with a mezzanine bedroom. Its decor seems like a nod to the surrounding castles. We are located between Montrichard and Saint-Aignan , and you are about fifteen kilometers from the Chateau de Chenonceaux and the Beauval Zoo. (We do not provide linens.
