“This is a beautiful private place to rest. I stayed here while my home was going through major renovations due to a flood. Then the Coronavirus hit and I was forced into quarantine and had to teach high school from home. What could have been a very stressful situation was relieved by Calvins hospitality and being able to enjoy the quiet serenity of the unit. The porch and deck were awesome, I spent most evenings on the porch listening to the birds. A much needed escape from the current craziness in the world.”
Explore the local area and islands with the cycles provided before returning for a refreshing dip in the pool. This appealing coastal cottage has a lovely relaxing atmosphere, thanks to wooden floors offset by turquoise and pastel blue accents.
“My absolutely favorite place to stay in the Charleston area. This is a safe and quiet neighborhood in Mount Pleasant. It’s artfully decorated and feels very homey with everything we could want. The beautiful flowers around the clean pool gave a relaxing place to rest. Hosts are delightful to talk with and give suggestions for restaurants when we asked. They are around but not intrusive. Thank you for sharing your private pool house with us.”

“We had the opportunity to stay at this condo for four nights - just prior to Christmas. Though we had visited Charleston before, we had never been on the Isle of Palms. We loved it. The condo itself is decorated very nicely, and it's a very comfortable place to stay. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate for us (cold and rainy), but I imagine that in warmer weather, it would be great to walk on the beach and sit on the balcony. Even with the cold, rainy weather, the view toward the water was wonderful...and we did bundle up one day and walk along the beach. Great shells...and an easy walk to town. We were very impressed with the restaurants on Isle of Palms as well. Everything is within walking distance. Our favorites included the Long Island Island Cafe (ask for Shannon's section) and the Acme Low Country Kitchen. Great scallops, shrimp, salmon, and anything else you could want. Yum!! The kitchen was well-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, serving plates, glasses (of many types) and flatware. A coffee maker and toaster were also available. There was salt and pepper, but you'll have to bring your own oil and spices. The bed was very comfortable, towels were plentiful, and great shower too. Communication with Jennifer was great - she responded to any questions we had within the hour. We highly recommend this condo.”
