Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mount Prospect

The house had plenty of room for my family of 10. We truly appreciated all of the extra things to do at the house. The pool table/ping pong table was a hit for the young adults. The fact that they had enough kayaks that the young adults could go out in a group was a huge plus. The only negative I would say is the amount of lily pads in front of the house didn’t allow for swimming off the dock or fishing. Obviously this is not the fault of the owner so we made the best of it.

We couldn’t have asked for a better home for our Spring Break. We last minute booked this home, and checked in 45 later but you would have never known by how welcoming Vytauta made it. Beds were very comfortable, backyard was great, we felt right at home.

Alex is a great host! Dog friendly places are hard to find and his place made my dog feel super comfortable. Love this place and definitely will be back.

I stayed at Sharron’s house for two months and felt right at home. The house was spacious with a nice backyard. It was very cozy and had many amenities available to allow for an easy stay. The neighborhood was quiet and nice, with a large park nearby. Sharron was very responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay at Sharron’s house again if I returned to the area.

Elena was a great host. Quick to respond and helped tremendously whenever there was a problem. The house itself was clean and comfy!

Place was very cozy. Neighborhood was very safe and quiet. Parking on site was a plus. Would book again!

We enjoyed staying at Nicole’s house in Geneva Illinois. It was clean, comfortable, and pet friendly. Nicole was very responsive when we had a couple questions and always friendly. The house is very spacious and all 4 bedrooms have plenty of room. The backyard is very nice. It’s about a 1-mile walk to downtown Geneva or an easy drive. We didn’t use the 2nd floor since there were only two of us, but if you have a larger group you will have plenty of room. Highly recommend!!

The Lake House was a great find. It had all the amenities we needed to have a comfortable stay. We made all our meals at the house and the kitchen was well stocked with what we could need. We’re big coffee drinkers and the keurig was definitely a bonus for us. It was lovely waking up to views of the lake every morning. This place was also dog friendly and our dog enjoyed looking out at the lake and watching the geese. It was cold during our stay so we didn’t have a chance to enjoy the patio or fire pit but it must be very enjoyable in the warmer months. The host was also very attentive, reaching out to see if we needed anything. So if you’re visiting the area, I’d definitely recommend staying here!

We were in town for Thanksgiving visiting family with our dogs for 4 nights. Communication with host was great. The house was very clean, well furnished (we cooked the Thanksgiving meal there), recently renovated kitchen (huge kitchen island) with high end appliances, and yes there are 6 bedrooms (some small but nice). Rooms are split between three floors so everyone had room/privacy. Backyard with pool was great, lots of space for dogs, everything is fenced in but the front which was not a problem as the house is on a dead-end street with very little traffic. This is definitely a superhost home, all your condiments, lots of nice touches and snacks/gifts. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to family in Chicago. House is locate between 41 and 94 making travel around Chicago easy.

Nice house with updates. We used all four bedrooms, so everyone had their own space. Kitchen and living room looked nice, but a bit cozy if everyone was in the space at the same time. There was a large breakfast nook/counter in the kitchen instead of a table. More dishes, mugs, etc. in the kitchen would have been nice. The coffee maker and provided K-cups were great! Would definitely stay again if it's available when we are in the area again.

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

We were genuinely surprised to find a place in this location so close to the relatives we were visiting. Genoa City is not exactly the hotspot on the border! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, but no overly inquisitive citizens. Property was perfect for our requirements, with the fenced in back yard that allowed us to let our pet out whenever without having to use a leash. Nice personal welcoming touches were unexpected and truly appreciated, since we arrived late and weren't able to do any shopping before hand. Beds were comfortable and spaced throughout the second floor, with expansion in the lower basement if necessary for bigger families, especially those with older children. School immediately across the street is great for spontaneous recreation of all types if you have the equipment. Our dog has not had the opportunity to enjoy such a large open space for quite some time and it was great to wear him out for the evening prior to bedtime. Abundant TVs throughout the home!

Spent a vacation here with my family, everything was accurately described and easy to get in and had everything I needed. I recommend this location and housing for any get-aways.

Excellent. A beautiful homecoming after 7 weeks of travel. Thanks for the immaculate details, cleanliness and fun for the entire family. This is our go to whenever we are in Chicago.

Stephen was a welcoming host and the cabin was exactly as described. The location is secluded and quiet, but you’re also close to groceries, restaurants and fun antique stores. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals, and the fireplace is cozy and perfect for relaxing. Even with snow on the ground we enjoyed strolling around the property down to the lake. A wonderful stay, we’d love to visit again.

Jamie’s place was a perfect spot to stay in Chicago. There is access to the L within a few miles (with parking structure), and there are many walkable places locally. We highly recommend Caesar Pierogis on West Irving (offers gluten free pierogis). The neighborhood is charming and safe for walking. After long days of exploring, we came back to Jamie’s place and enjoyed watching Netflix and relaxing in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, and there is a grocery store within walking distance. Jamie is a very thoughtful host, and her home is quite accommodating. We had a lovely get away. Thank you, Jamie!

The location was great for a family reunion. So many small details were thought of to make the stay so smooth. Will definitely stay again.

Very cute tiny home. Had a lot of amenities including full bathroom, refrigerator/freezer, washer/dryer, and oven/stove which I haven’t seen in other tiny homes. Would recommend.

The listing doesn’t do this place justice. It was so very very clean, well appointed including an iron and ironing board which wasnt mentioned in the listing. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Plenty of hot water and more than enough bath towels and wash cloths. Shower gels and shampoos provided. Well appointed kitchen and freezer full of ice. The bed was so comfortable I overslept every morning. Super easy check in and out. I’m going to mention again the cleanliness of the place - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 20. I highly recommend this place.

This was our first time staying at an Airbnb and it was a very pleasant experience. Place was very clean and we felt right at home. Steve was very responsive with the questions I had.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Great location and safe neighborhood. We loved having a garage! The hosts were very attentive and we will be back.

Great experience. Tom is a great host , replies super fast and offers to help with anything needed , the house is spacious and everything is well kept.
