In our quiet and family-friendly holiday apartment "Am Tälchen", you can stay with a maximum of 4 people can enjoy a relaxing holiday. It is close to the edge of the forest and is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike rides in the "Kroppacher Schweiz". There are three playgrounds nearby and plenty to discover, such as Hachenburg with its historic old town (4 km), Marienstatt Abbey with its monastery garden and brewery, the Westerwald Lake District, and Bad Marienberg with its climbing park and zoo.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.
