Dannie's Place

This is Dannie’s place, brand new detached unit initially constructed for my father Dan, who passed away during the constuction. It features a full kitchen with all new appliances, washer and dryer and a nice open floor plan. The home is about 20 minutes from PDX, it is located in the Columbia River Gorge where you will find beautiful hiking trails, water falls, and endless water activities. We are 5 minutes from the historic town of Camas Washington, where you will find shopping and dining.

Explore the world-class restaurants, coffee shops and bars in the nearby Williams and Mississippi districts. Take a stroll around the award winning (and oldest) rose garden in the City of Roses across the street in Peninsula Park. At home, this second story studio has extra space in the meditation loft, a full kitchen, fast internet, and projector for streaming. Enjoy your private deck over the shared garden with hammock and H/C outdoor shower. Bus and train nearby with ample on-street parking.

Get cozy by the gas fireplace with a book from our little library, work on your laptop in the desk nook or make an outdoor fire + star-gaze on the patio. Enjoy the mid-century furnishings, the nice sheets + towels and be sure to write a letter - letterpress cards + stamps are for your use. Quiet neighborhood with good coffee (Bison!), steps from breakfast (Beeswing), and near Beaumont Village (Pip's Donuts!). Only 10 mins to airport!

Sweet Hideaway in the trees, Mount Tabor

Sweet Hideaway is a little, cozy space for couples or solo travelers looking for a peaceful refuge in the trees, yet only a 10 minute drive to downtown. You will have your own entrance and enjoy a Tempurpedic queen bed, a smart TV, your private bathroom, a dining/kitchenette area with a bar table and stools, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, tea, coffee, treats, utensils, a private table and chairs on the deck over the trees. For 2+ night stay, free use of washer/dryer.

Cozy Vintage Cottage in the Woods

The studio cottage is located in an east Portland neighborhood bordering the city of Gresham. It is close to public transport (near a MAX light rail station), the airport and outdoor activities (the Columbia Gorge; Mt Hood) and is a 20-30 min drive to downtown. It's cozy (eclectic vintage style), a wooded 1-acre setting within the city limits, and has secure premises (electric gate). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Please no young children.

Enjoy a fully appointed spacious and light-filled space, perfect for a couple or a family with one child. No smoking on the premises.

The guest cottage offers self check-in. It is located in a quiet neighborhood in SE Portland. High ceilings make this studio airy and bright. We think of it as a perfect hotel room without the hotel. The small galley kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal including filtered water. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space with quick access to I-84. We are just 12 minutes to Gresham but have the feeling of being secluded. In the winter come for the wind and mother nature! The unit has a private entrance in the back lower level of our home. It includes a separate BR, living area w/ gas fireplace, dining table w full kitchen. We are out in the country and do have a miniature donkey, a sheep and chickens. No Pets allowed.
