You can see a lot of beautiful scenery just a 10-minute walk away. Please take a look at Mt. Iinoka from Oza Hoshiike. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi Ward)! It is about a 7-minute walk from the next nearest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen). You can also come by public transport. Restaurants such as Mori-no-Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, and hamburgers are within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenko-ji Temple.Togakushi Shrine is about 15 minutes by car. It is also a great base for golf skiing to Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko. You can also use it for climbing the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomitai Trail, and Mt. Iinago. If you'd like to visit a hot spring, it's about a 15-minute drive to Tengu-no-Yado at Lake Reisenji. In the green season, there are eight golf courses within an hour, including the Madarao Country Club, and many day-use hot spring facilities. The owner lives on the right side of the entrance and can be contacted at any time, and understands everyday conversational English. "Kura" a Japanese historical warehouse where you can stay is in the Makiroku Noen, an orchard that has been in Obuse, Ngano for 10 generations. We renovated a historic warehouse and transformed into a small cozy place with a Japanese style bathtub on the first floor, and two queen-size beds on the second floor. Inside the historic building, you can have a relaxing time with the bath, reading a book in peaceful and quiet atmosphere, or watch a movie on the projector.
